2-Confrontation and partners

As I walk into the school main entrance, I heard someone say my name. Turning around I saw my old friendship group looking and laughing at me.

Rolling my eyes, I couldn't deal with them today, I accidentally bump into someone.

Josh Naton, the schools bad ass. He was like a cross between Zac Efron and Harry Styles. With short sides and long on top black hair, emerald green eyes, very tall around 6ft 2 and had some muscle. If you didn't want to date him, you wanted to be him. I went to middle school with him and he was nothing like he is now he use to be funny and kind, even a little bit popular as he was the schools best soccer player, but last year everything changed and no one really knows why. He dropped out of the team, distanced himself from his friends and started to skive classes more frequently.

"I'm sorry I didn't look where I was going," I said quite quietly and went to walk around him.

His voice made me jump as i turned to meet his beautiful green eyes, "Ignore them." I must have look confused as he nodded his head in the direction of my bitchy friends.

I turned my head to see, their they stood mouths open at the sight of me chatting with Josh and better yet all the people outside were looking in mine and Josh's direction.

Just as i was about to say thank you Josh had gone, oh well I thought. As I walked into school to my locker. Grabbing my books i quickly made my way to History class.

As it was the start of the new term I would have preferred to get their early as it's a new seating plan and it's first come first pick. But due the commotion I was a bit later then normal. When I got their I had seen that a handful of people had already arrived.

Great just great.

It meant that I was going to have to sit with someone as all the spaces for one person have gone.

Miss Rig saw me and smiled, she was one of my favourite teachers and the only one who was aware of my situation with my old friends. As I entered the class she pointed to a seat in the back row near the window for me. Next to someone who had arrived earlier but I couldn't see who as they were looking outside in the opposite direction.

Who was it? I thought as i got out my book and pen. Once done i looked to my right to see my partner.

My ex- best friend, the one who caused heart aching nights where i cried my self to sleep. The one who had planned everything. The one who most likely told everyone to laugh at me earlier. I hated her.

She turned to me venom in her eyes, for whatever reason she was angry at me.

Wtf??????

Last time I checked I have the right to be angry at her. Whilst thinking about what I had done she looked over at Josh who sat with a bored expression on his face and she smiled and waved a bit.

OH YEAH NOW I REMEMBER JESS HAS HAD THE BIGGEST CRUSH ON JOSH SINCE FOREVER

As if josh was aware of this he looked over me and said "You okay Isabelle, those girls this morning were right fucktards."

I muffled my laugh as I watched Jess huff, turn around and cross her hands.

"Thank you," I whispered to josh as I looked into his beautiful eyes, a butterfly jumped around in my stomach as he smiled at me with nothing but sincerity.

"Alright class," Miss yelled to everyone, breaking mine and Josh's moment.

Josh turned to the front with his bored expression painted on him, I turned too but with the faintest smile on my lips, as my insides exploded with happiness.

I'd seen a side to the bad boy that no one else has, I like that, I like it a lot.
