With You

Chapter 4

 Tristan's POV

That moment when you thought that you're unbeatable and you own all the victory, then someone unexpected, someone you thought incapable, would beat you. It makes you so angry, like it's the end for you, like there's no way you could ever reach that far again. Well we all have that moment, and right now, James is experiencing it.

"How did you do that?" James shouted all of a sudden at Francene.

Shocked is written all over her face "What?!" answered Francene.

"You cheated. That's why you won." James said angrily

 "I didn't. Earlier you told me to play with you. I told you no, but then you insisted. So I played with you. Can you please think straight! How am I supposed to cheat when all I did was to press the keys in the controller and look at the TV screen. You know I can't see where I did that cheating you are saying." she said

 After hearing what she said, James walked out angrily. He went upstairs while stomping his feet heavily. When he reached his room he started shouting.

 ... 

Well this is what happened before James shouted at Francene. He beat me in our game. Then he played with Bradley and Sophie. Yes he beat them too. Then he asked Francene to play with him, at first Francene didn't want to play, but then in the end she agreed. Now too bad for James because Francene beated him. That's why he got angry with her. He thought that Francene wouldn't beat him. But then he was wrong. That's why he got angry and acted like that. Call it immature, but as I told you, it does hurt when you're so up high then someone drag you down.

 ...

I manage myself to sit next to Francene.  Then I pat her back lightly.

"Hey." I said to Francene

 "Hey." she said

 "So how are you?" I asked

 "What do you think?" she asked 

"Well remember what I told you earlier? You know James is not really like that. He just got a big problem. Please just don't mind him." I said

"So you think not minding him is the right thing to do? Not minding him even if he just got pissed at me three times? Even though I didn't really do something wrong."

"Are you angry?" I asked

 "No. I'm just, arghhh!!" She said then sighed heavily. "I'm just asking if that's the right thing to do." she said 

"Come with me." I said then stand and laid my hand to her.

"Where are we going?" She asked

"Trust me it'll make you feel better." I said.

She took my hand, then I pulled her. We went outside the house and took a walk.

"Before, whenever I feel bad I just take a walk around the streets." I said

She didn't answered me,  so we walked silently. When we arrived back home, I drag her with me and went straight to the kitchen. I gave her ice cream to make her feel better.

"Thank you." She said.

"Uhm, I don't usually do this but here let me give you a hug." I said then open my arms.

She slowly walked closer, when she was close enough to me, I pulled her to a hugged, then she hugged me back. I patted her back to comfort her.

"You can cry if you want to. I'm here for you." I said sincerely

 Sophie's POV

 Now I'm really pissed about how James is acting. I don't know why he's acting rude to Francene. And the fact that he's being like that because of such small things isn't acceptable. He's being such a kid.

  "James why are you being rude to Francene?" I asked while still calming myself 

"No I'm not rude to her." he answered

 "What no? Yes you are rude to her. What's your problem huh?" I asked

 "She is. She is my problem. She do these things that are so annoying." he said

 "You know what. She is not the problem. The problem is your break up. So please don't pour out your anger on her." I said 

"You know nothing Sophie. And you don't care about my break up." he shouted

 "Yeah I really don't care about your break up. But you know, you need to move on." I said firmly

 "Don't tell me to move on like it's an easy thing to do. You don't know how it feels." he said irritatedly 

"I think you should go buy yourself a lot of haribo for you to be able to move on." I suggested

 "Stop telling me what to do Sophie. You're not the older one here." he said

 I walked out of his room. I don't want to make a big fight with him. I just wanted to knock some sense to him that pouring out his anger to Francene won't do him any good.
