Chapter 9

Tristan's POV

We're on Connor's car on the way back to James' house. I'm kind of worried because Francene didn't come with us and James is still sleeping when we leave earlier. I don't want Francene getting close to James. I know I'm not allowed to get jealous because I'm nothing to Francene. I'm just her friend. But still I don't want her close to James or to any other men. We arrived at James' house. I hurriedly went to the living room where we left her. She's not there. I heard noises coming from Francene's room. I hurriedly went upstairs. When i was in front of Francene's room I heard music playing from the inside. I also heard laughter. When I opened the door I was shocked to see James and Francene together. They were playing pillow fight. I felt sudden anger. They stopped playing when they noticed my presence.

" I just went to check on Francene." I said then closed the door and went to the room I'm sharing with Connor.

After some minutes I heard someone knocking at the door.

"Come in." I said Francene came in.

She seated on my bed. I was lying so I turned around to face the wall instead of her.

"Hey what happened?" She asked

"Nothing." I lied

"Nothing? Really huh? Then why did you choose to turn your back on me?" She asked

I turned around to face her. "Why are you here?" I asked

"Well because my best friend is mad at me. Tell me what happened." She said

"Nothing, I was just shocked to see James in your room." I said

"Why? We're just playing." She said

"I know." I said

"So why did you went to my room?" She asked

I stand up to get the bag I put down on the table earlier.

"Here." I said then gave her the bag.

"What's this?" She asked

"Stuffs you love." I said

"Is it food?" She asked

"See for yourself." I said

She opened the bag and smiled sheepishly.

"Thank you!!!!" She said the hugged me.

'Welcome." I said

When she hugged me all the anger I have inside me went gone. As if she vanishes away every negative thing on me. I like how she makes me feel happy in her such little gestures. Maybe I have really fallen for her.

James' POV

I went downstairs when the others arrived home. I went to the dinning where they are.

"Any food?" I asked

"Ice cream you want?" Sophie asked

"Sure, I'll just call Francene." I answered

I went to the stairs but I didn't went up. I'll just shout to Francene about the ice cream.

"Hey Francene there's ice cream here!" I shouted

"What?" She asked while going out of Tristan and Connor's room.

"I said there's ice cream here so go down." I shouted

"Really? Okay I'll come down." She shouted with enthusiasm.

She run down the stairs hurriedly. When she was only five steps away from the ground, she tripped. She's moaning because of her fall.
