With You

Chapter 3

James' POV

 The smell of the food wafted through the house. The roosted chicken makes my mouth water, the salad looks delicious and the aroma of the mashed potato is really good. After an hour of preparing the food, still there's no Tristan and Francene at home. The store isn't too far from our house but then it still took them so much time to buy ice cream.

"Why are they taking so long? It's been an hour, and the market is only ten minutes away from home." I finally said irritatedly

 "Hey James, chill okay." said Connor

 "Maybe they got into a little problem. You know, unexpected things may come." said Bradley

 "So you're saying that they got into a problem. So what is Francene? A magnet of all the problem in the world?" I said angrily

 "Hey calm down. Dont talk like that. Why are you so beast mode? Another thing, they are now here, so stop it." Sophie said

 I now noticed the sound of the car,  then I heard chuckling and talking which irritated me more because it's like they don't care about us starving.  They entered and everyone's eyes are now staring at them. I was the one to break the ice.

 "So you two having fun?" I asked furiously

 "Yes. Why, is there something wrong?" Tristan asked pertaining to the situation.

 "Nothing. James is just hungry. You know, like he can eat up everything. Put the ice cream in the fridge and let's start eating." Mom said

 After dinner we decided to gather in the living room to play xbox.

 "Hey you okay?" Connor asked

"Yes, as you can see there's nothing wrong with me." I said

"Not that, I mean about how you are feeling." He cleared

 "Yeah I'm fine, maybe it's just the jetlag." I said

 "You know what. We both know that what I meant is about the real status of your feelings. It's not the jetlag. It's the heartbreak. Don't be oblivious to it." he said 

"Maybe. But it'll heal after some time." I said

 "You're right that time will heal your heart. But you should mend it too, so it will heal faster." he suggested

 "How can I? If I don't know how to." I answered

"Worst pains are only healed by love." He said "Try to love someone again, I'm sure one day you'll find yourself over it."

"I'll try." I said

 "Don't just try it. Do it James." he added

 "Connor you're up! Tris just lost our game." Shouted Bradley, interjecting between our conversation.

"Okay, and please for Pete's sake don't shout we're on the same living room." Connor said

"Whatever, just hurry up." Bradley said

 "Are you ready to loose Brad?" Connor said while taking his seat in the sofa.

"As if you'll win." Said Bradley
