Chapter 10

*Beth's POV*

I look around me and notice a few people staring. My eyes land on Zack, and our eyes lock. He immediately turns his attention back to Kaylie.

I look at Jacob. He's staring intently at me.

"Uh......I'm gonna go.....," I say.

"Are you okay," he questions me.

"Yeah. Just a headache," yet again, I use a headache as an excuse.

I turned and walked away before he could protest.

I felt kinda bad. I couldn't just come out and say "I just need to get away from you".

Oh my God, Beth! Why did you kiss him?! You just added more drama to your life!

I walked as fast as I could.

I ended up in my classroom 20 minutes early. I paced back and forth from one side of the room to the other.

I hear the door open and turn to see who it was.....

Zack.....

With Kaylie coming in behind him.

They didn't notice me, and they began making out.

Zack pushes her against the wall....

"Excuse me. I don't need a porn show," I say.

They turn and look at me. Zack looks embarrassed, and Kaylie sends me death glares. Let's just say if looks could kill, I'd be dead.

"What? I'm just saying, if I wanted a porn show, I'd go on porn hub."

Zack looks even more embarrassed now, and Kaylie seems like she's about to bite my head off.

Zack clears his throat, breaking the silence.

"I'm....uhhhh....I'm gonna....go," He points toward the door, and practically runs out of the room.

Okay. Fine asshole. Just leave me with this bitch.

"Listen here bitch. You need to STAY AWAY from Zack," Kaylie says.

"It's-"

"NO! I'm talking, not you," she says after rudely interrupting me.

"Fine, whore," I muttered under my breath.

"I see the way you look at him. You need to stay the fuck away. He's mine."

I don't say anything.

"You don't matter. To ANYONE. Zack will NEVER like you. Even if he did, he'd leave you. Just like your parents did," Kaylie says.

There. She finally did it. She found my weak spot.

I bit my lip to hold back tears. I dug my fingernails into my palm.

I take off running just as I burst into tears.

Then, I hear footsteps behind me.
