Chapter 13

*Beth's POV*

When we finally reached our destination, I looked around to figure out where we were.

Olive Garden.

Oh my gosh.

I might have to marry him.

He brought me to OLIVE GARDEN!

I was still fantasizing about Olive Garden when Jacob opened my door for me.

He put his hand out for me, and I took it.

We walked hand in hand into the restaurant. A man led us to our booth.

I sat on one side, and Jacob sat in the other.

"So how did you know to take me to Olive Garden," I ask, curious as to how he knew I loved it here.

"I remembered that this was your favorite place when we were kids, so I figured it was probably still your favorite," he answered with a shrug.

Awe. He remembers stuff about me from when we were younger. That's so sweet.

"Well, you figured correctly because this is still my favorite restaurant ever."

"I'm glad," he replied with a smile.

Then, the waiter came and took our orders.

We enjoyed an amazing dinner that included a lot of conversation and occasional bickering.

It was just like old times before he moved.

After dinner, Jacob insisted that we go watch a movie.

We had a peaceful ride to the movie theater, but once we arrived the peace disappeared.

We argued over what movie to watch for what seemed like hours.

We ended up watching The Conjuring 2.

After we watched our movie, it took Jacob forever to convince me that nothing was going to get me when I went out in the dark.

I have to admit, I really was scared. That movie was terrifying!

We rode back to my house in silence.

Once we got there, Jacob, once again, took my hand and helped me out of the car.

He walked me to the doorstep, and we said our goodbyes.

He was getting ready to walk away when I grabbed his hand and pulled him to me.

Our eyes locked, and I closed the space between us.

I mean, what better way to end an amazing date than a kiss on my doorstep?

Just in case you didn't notice, I really do love Olive Garden👌🏻😂

And I really did watch The Conjuring 2! Oh my gosh it was terrifying!

Oh, I discontinued Undercover Romance. I just lost inspiration, and it wasn't going anywhere.

But I did start a new story! It's called In An Instant. The first 7 chapters are published so far!

Also, I'm going to be changing a few things in all chapters of this story, so you'll probably get notifications for that. I just hate the way I did the dialogue. I apologize for blowing up your phones (or whatever it is you use for Wattpad) with all the notifications!
