Okay, so I was in this extravagant outdoor mall (I seem to find myself in malls quite often) with some of my friends. One of my friends has this Japanese treat called taiyaki and I eat one of the two she has to try it and see if it's any good. Well, it's absolutely delicious, so I decide to go buy some and also buy her one to pay her back. When I get to the shop, I ask about all the different flavors and this employee just decides to show me how it's all done. There's a peanut filling, curry filling, chocolate filling, etc. By the time he finishes this long explanation, it's already nighttime and I find out that we get locked in. I realize that the mall is actually part of a schooling system of some sort.If you don't leave by closing time, you're locked in. Another downside is that there's this security type woman. If she catches sight of your face, she'll know your name immediately and write your name down and you'll receive a punishment. Well, there are about eight students left running around and I realize I left my backpack outside of the store. It's underneath a bench, and this guy goes and gets it for me. Well, he gets caught by the security lady right as he gives me my backpack and suddenly he disappears. I say thank you to nothing and try to maneuver my way into the changing room type space that the others are hiding in. The door is left open so I could make a smooth transition from the entrance to the hiding spot. The security lady's back is turned and I take the opportunity to bound over to hide. She begins to turn in my direction and I duck my face away from her gaze and I'm also covered by my hair. Unfortunately, since the door was open, she recorded the names of everyone in our hiding spot and now they've disappeared. I stand, facing the changing room in a way so the security lady doesn't see my face. By the way, this is all being done in high action movement like crazy leaps and flips. Suddenly, an announcement is made over the loudspeaker but when I try to remember it, it sounds just like someone talking underwater. Jabari is now with me at this point because we're the only ones left and we think we're safe. But it turns out the lady let loose this giant spider to go after us. Half the store's floor turns into sand and the rest is solid. The spider has trouble moving in the sand, but so do we so we were at a bit of a disadvantage until we thought of a trap to lure the spider into the sand and for Jabari and I to stay on more solid ground without the threat of the spider for a few minutes. We start devising our plan of attack until the spider makes its way to us out from the sand. Jabari manages to jump up on top of it and I'm sprinting to this high tower thing. If you saw the Shallows trailer, it felt like I just made it to the buoy thing. I now have a weapon which is an axe. I jump down and cut down into the spider's head.We realize there's some sort of way to defeat it if we're able to cut into it. Jabari, still on the spider, guides it in certain directions as I'm on the ground to allow me to strike at it. I pull off this one move where the spider charges after me and I jump into the air and slice down the spider's entire body. Well, it doesn't die. Jabari yells something out like, "That's not how we defeat it." And pulls me up onto the spider's back. A giant piece of paper is now settled down in the store and another announcement is made about how we have to graph a certain algebraic figure. Jabari says it's something we've learned in class. The spider stops by the piece of paper and I cut into it with the axe to create a graph. However, what I learned in class escaped my mind and I couldn't remember. Jabari just tells me to draw a circle and I give him a look of disbelief. He tells me to trust him. I etch in a horrific circle and then the spider disappears with the paper. We're both back in front of the changing room and in my hand now is a piece of paper. There are names written all over it and I see Jabari's and mine. I don't know what it means but I give Jabari a glance and say thank you then go back to studying the paper. He's standing so close to me, and then I feel him move as he leans in and kisses my temple. The end.
