You had been living with your good friend Connor for a few weeks now. He offered for you to stay with him while you were finishing up school. He was constantly at hockey so he was glad that there was someone else there when he got back.
You hadn't put much thought into your feelings towards Connor until he walked into the living room in nothing but a towel wrapped around his waist. "Sorry I forgot my phone," he said. He grabbed his phone and headed to his bedroom to get changed.
He walked out in a nice suit and asked you help him with his tie. You knew he could do it himself but figure there was a reason he asked. You did his tie and said goodbye.Taylor had come to pick up Connor. Once they left for the game it left a slight absence in your stomach.
You recieved a text not to long after. It was from Connor. It said, "I have left a ticket and a security pass for you at the gate. I would love to see you in the crowd if you aren't too busy."
You began to feel butterflies in your stomach as you read the message. You began to get changed immediately and put on some light makeup. You then headed to the rink just in time to catch the warm ups.
The biggest smile formed on Connor's face as you found your seat, right behind the home bench. He tossed a puck over the glass and you caught it as the boy next to you began to say that he wish he had gotten a puck. You went to hand it to the boy but he said that he couldn't accept it because Connor had thrown it to you. You said not to worry but the boy was pretty persistent, so you caught Connor's attention and had him throw a puck to the little boy. The biggest smile lit up the boy's face.
You watched the game slightly upset that the team had lost but Connor had scored so it made things a little bit easier. You headed down to the waiting area outside the dressing room and Connor came out the doors not to long after. You guys walked to your car. Connor being stopped now and again to take a picture with a fan or sign an autograph. You would step back and watch it all. You couldn't help but smile everything he looked at you.
The two of you finally got to your car and you got it the drivers seat and Connor in the passenger side with his hand resting on your thigh. You were slightly confused by his action but you weren't about to stop them. They made you feel safe as you love for Connor enhanced. He thanked you for coming before giving you a small peck on the cheek. You felt butterflies in your stomach again.
"Connor, what was that for," you said sweetly.
"Oh I'm sorry. I just thought that there was something between us."
You put the car in park as you pulled into your spot in the garage and leaned across the console to return a kiss to Connor. "I have felt the same way. I just didn't think that you returned the feeling," you said.
He got out and walked around the car before helping you out and pulling you into a passionate kiss. The two of you stood there for a moment before heading upstairs to the apartment to continue this.
