--Matt's P.O.V--

As we drove off, it became very awkward. The radio was on, but she seemed to not be intrested in me or the music. "So uh...umm where ya from?" She didn't answer. "okay..um so how old are you?" "Eighteen." she said staring out the window. "Cool, me too." I reply. "I told you my name already so, what's yours?" "Why do you want to know so much about me?" she said very rudely. "Sorry. Just trying to be nice." "You know what, I don't even know why i'm in this car with you. Stop here." "But we are-" "Stop the car!" She yells. She opens the door and slams it shut.,She walks down the street to the corner and I slowly drive next to her. "Hey." I say concerned. "What do you want?" She asks. I can tell in the tone of her voice, she was on the verge of crying. "I know you had a rough day, but I just wanna help." "Why would you want to help, an ugly hobo like me?" "Because, you are worth it, and you are beautiful." she looked at me with tears in her eyes. I knew she hadn't been told anything like that in years. She continued walking. I drove up next to her and said "Im not going to just leave you here. I'll carry you into my car if I have to." She stopped and rolled her eyes as she walked toward the car.

--Delaney's P.O.V.--

I sat in the passanger seat. And set my stuff on the seats behind me. It had to have been about 20 minutes since we have been driving and no one has said a thing. The whole time, all I could think about how he told me I was worth it and how he called me beautiful. Then my thought's were interupted by Matt's voice. He sang beautifully. "...it's like your my mirror, my mirror staring back at me..." "Wow." I say astonished. "Thank you, I love to sing I-" "No not your singing, I was suprised that you can memorize the lyrics." I say joking around with him. He chuckles. "Well I know you can sing. I've heard you play your guitar and sing some original songs." he compliments me. "Thank you but i'm not that good." I say shyly. "Oh but you really are. I see something special in you." I smile at his words. He looks at me and takes off his sunglasses and smiled as we pull up to really tall gates. His eyes. His eyes were beautiful. They were a deep chocolate brown. They sparkled like stars. "We're here." He says as we pull in the drive way. He quickly jogs around the car to my door and opens it. I step out in awe of how massive the house is. I walk up to the front door as Matt unlocks it. The door swings open and he brings in my backpack.

The house was beautiful. The walls and tiles on the floor are white. The couches chairs and sofas are black. The kitchen had a silver refridgerator, microwave, cabinets, and a silver kitchem table. As I walked more into the house I saw this window. This window was as big as the wall. Through the window was a beautiful view of New York City. I walked closer and placed both hands on the window and admired the view. "Beautiful, isn't it?" I heard Matt's voice from behind. I could feel him come closer and closer to me. "Yeah." He stands to my left. I catch myself staring at him. I felt like an idiot. I looked at him like how a dog looks at a bone. I quickly turn away and look out the window. "Here, let me get your backpack and show you to your room." I nod my head and follow him up a beautiful silver spiral staircase. When we get on the second floor I see a black grand piano and next to it a brown nylon guitar. Across from the piano is a black 'L' shaped couch. Infront of a fake fire place. It is one of those fireplaces that you turn on with a button and it makes it warm, but I don't really know how it works so yeah. We walked down this completely white hallway, with white carpet. "Here we are." He signals me to come in. I see a huge round bed with white pillows and a fluffy white blanket. Above the bed was a white canvas. It had splatters of black paint. I wonder what it meant? Across the bed was a huge flat tv and under that a bookshelf filled with books. I bend down and trace my finger across the spines of the books. Hopefully I will be able to read one soon. I stand up and look to my right. There is a glass sliding door that lead to a small balcony. To the right of the sliding door was a bathroom. It had a bath tub and a walk in shower. Across the tub and shower was a long rectangular mirror over the sink that was about five feet long and three feet tall. Under the sink was drawers filled with soap, toothpaste, new toothbrushes, medicine etc. further in was another door. It was a walk in closet. It had a rack for shoes and some hangers for clothes. On a shelf there was a good amount of colorful towels. I walk out and see matt walk in with one of his t shirts and some addida sweats. "Here are some clothes you can sleep in. Have a good night" he says. "Thank you, good night." I say politley as he walks out the door closing it behind him. I take a shower and change into his clothes. I brush my teeth and head for the bed. I cover myself with the blanket and sit up in the bed. I begin to cry. I am still trying to process this. Is all this really happening. It's been months since I had somewhere to sleep, and food to eat. It's beem months since I had a bed to sleep in. I also thought about Matt. I never felt this before. Whem he smiles I get tingly inside. When he looks at me I feel happy. He made me feel special. I wasn't sure what this feeling was. Did I love him? I couldn't jump to conclusions because I don't even know what love is. All I knew is that he cares for me. Which meant alot beacause for the first time im months, I felt loved and cared for. I lay back down in bed and fall asleep.
