Chapter 10

I stormed out of the bathroom and ran to my room. I went to straight for my bathroom and locked the door. I was so confused. I mean I should be happy, right. Well, I wasn’t completely happy. I felt irresponsible, even though I didn’t know. How was Matt going to take this?

*Knock on door *

Speaking of the devil.

“Is everything okay?” he asks. “Go away.” “I just want to tell you that, whatever the result is, I will still love you the same. I really do care for you Delaney. I always will.”

Did he really mean it.

Matt’s POV:

I told her the truth. I really did love her. I loved everything about her. Even though her skin is scarred and her heart is broken, I love her. I want to protect her. She is an amazing person, and I don’t want to hurt her like everyone else has. She is my world-

“It’s- I’m-”

Hesitance lingered on her words.

“The test is positive. I’m pregnant.” She blurted out all at once.

My whole world stopped. My head spun. I stepped back until I was at the bed, and I sat. My elbows placed on my knees, and my head in my hands.

“Matt?” she cried.

I looked up and she was standing in the doorway of the bathroom.  She walked up to me. I looked up and she smiled down at me. I left a kiss on her tummy. I then stood up and kissed her. “I will always be by your side.”

Delaney’s POV:

Love filled his eyes.

I was sure he would do as he said.

He held me tight as I cried out my last tears.

I could tell by the way he told me he loved me, he was on the verge of crying.

But he remained strong, for me.
