Chapter 4 the living arrangements part 1

SOUL'S POV

I was talking with everyone when I saw that Kid and Kira still hadn't moved from their position they were still holding hands for damn sake. Also Jack was still talking and staring at Patti. Maybe it was me being protective of my sister which is so not cool but I did not like the that that reaper was looking at her. I decided to break the silence. I coughed and cleared my throat then everyone looked at me. Not cool.

"Alright well I guess Kira and Jack do you guys have a place to stay yet or not. Because that should be your main priority right now as I am assuming that Lord Death made arrangements for your bags to be posted here. Cause if you would like you two could stay with me and Maka".

I looked at Maka and she was looking at the ground and without warning she brought a book out and "MAKA CHOP" hit me over the head with it. I still do not know where she hides those books. "Ow Maka that hurt what was that for". I said rubbing my head.

She sighs and says "because you should of asked me first before asking and maybe they already have plans idiot". Maka says matter of factly looking at where Kira and Kid were still standing close to each other.

"So not cool. But anyway ah if you guys already have a place to stay then cool just say so".

KIRA'S POV

Soul had asked if we had arrangements made and I looked at Jack only to see him looking at Patti again. "Yeah we do if I can get it out Jack's pocket I can see where we are staying". I let go of Kid's hand feeling disappointed about the lack of warmth and ran over to Jack to pull the long piece of paper out with where we were staying.

"Well what does it say". Maka and Soul ask at the same time kinda funny the way they do that but Soul gets hit by Maka all the time. Where does she keep the book.

I look at the piece of paper as Jack realises that I had pulled something out of his pocket. "Hey Kira what are you doing".

"Trying to read where we are staying. The paper is so wrinkled I can barely see the writing". I hold it up to the light to look at it more closely and finally got something. "Hang on I think I can see it damn I wish that the sun would stop moving for a minute. Yup here it is, we are staying at Gallows manor. Anyone know where that is?".
