Chapter 19 The date

Kid's POV

I was wearing a sort of suit but all black except for my usual one. I had a tie on with my usual skull and looked all fancy after the help of Jack. I looked at myself in the living room mirror and smiled a bit as I waited for Kira and the girls to be done. I was nervous but excited at the same time. Soul and the others were down here waiting for Kira to come down.

After a few more minutes Kira came downstairs in a wonderful black dress and her hair down in waves around her. She had little make up on but it looked wonderful on her.

I smiled seeing her and blinked at how beautiful she looked. Liz and Patti were coming down behind her and smiled at their work.

Kira blushed walking towards me and smiled at me. "Hi you look really good Kid" she said smiling.

I smiled at her happily and silently thanked Patti and Liz for the help. "You look beautiful" I smiled at her and held my hand out to her thinking it would be better to go now.

She happily took it and held my hand. I smiled and walked to the door opening it for her and letting her go out first.

We took the time to walk to a restaurant nearby. I got a table near the window in the booths and smiled at her as I let her sit her down before me.

Kira's POV

I sat down opposite Kid and smiled at him. I couldn't believe he went through all this trouble for me. I had help from Liz and Patti to what I should wear and luckily it worked out great I was glad that Soul let me go out on a date. What with the school dance coming up and that vision still bugging me I didn't like it one bit. I realised I had zoned out and blinked as I looked over to Kid with a smile.

"Huh sorry I was just thinking" I smiled at him lightly and looked at the menu.

A few minutes later a waitress came over asking them for their orders. "Um I'll have the spinach and ricotta pasta please." I said slowly and smiled at her.

"I'll have the spaghetti please" Kid said with a smile to the waitress. The waitress nodded and went off to put the order in. I looked at Kid with a smile as he took my hand and I leant to him over the table.

He softly kissed me on the cheek and smiled. "You enjoying yourself". He asked softly.

I smiled and nodded "Yes I am very much" I grinned at him.

We stayed like that until our dinner arrived and I smiled at the smell as ate. I enjoyed the meal and laughed when Kid accidentally spilt some sauce on his suit. Kid pouted and looked around for something to clean it off.

"Here let me help" I said and smiled as I picked up a napkin and put it in some water to wet just barely then started lightly dabbing at the spot with the napkin and smiled as I fixed the spot and kissed his cheek lightly. Kid blushed and kissed my cheek back.

I ate smiling as we talked about nonsense and then we finished with a soft kiss and stood up. Kid paid the bill and I smiled happily as I waited for him to pay. I looked around the part of city through the window as I waited and wondered what life would bring soon to all of them. I hope that Jack would be okay on the dance night. I blinked as I looked back to a dark corner of the street I thought I saw something but shook my head as I looked again and didn't see anything.

Kid came back and I smiled at him happily and took his arm as we left for home. As we were walking I could have sworn that someone was watching us as we walked back but I ignored it and kept walking. We got home and I smiled as we walked in and Kid closed the door. I turned to him and kissed him softly on the lips, he returned the kiss and wrapped his arms around my waist. I wrapped my arms around his neck and continued to kiss him as I pulled myself closer to him. He deepened the kiss and I moaned lightly as he pulled away to breathe a bit and smiled picking me up bridal style and taking me upstairs.

I held on to him as I nuzzled his neck and lightly kissed it as I smiled and heard him moan lightly as I looked up at him innocently.

"Tease" He said softly as he smiled at me. I grinned innocently as he opened the door to his room and he walked in still carrying me. He closed the door as he kissed me deeply.
