Ch.7

I'm sitting on my couch waiting for my mom to get home. Since me and Luke decided to have the baby, I have to tell my mom, which I am not looking forward to.

"I'm home!" My yelled as she walked through the door. "Oh hi sweetie" she saw me sitting as she put her purse on the coffee table and sat down.
"Mom I need to talk to you" she sat up and looked at me
"Is everything okay?" She asked

"Not really" I shifted so I was facing her
"So last week I went to a collage party with Emily, and I ran into to a boy, well he ran in me, anyway he spilled a drink on me and took me upstairs to clean me off..." I stopped.
"We had sex" I continued
She put her hand on my leg "honey it's your senior year, if you think I'm going to get mad because you had sex, I..." I interrupted her "I'm pregnant" I blurted

She just looked at me then finally said "oh.... Honey I'm so sorry" she put her hand on my shoulder

"Are you mad at me?" I asked
"No sweet heart I'm upset but I'm not mad." She said "um who's the father?"

"His name is like and he's a collage boy" I stood up
"What are you guys going do to?" She stood up as well.
"We are going to have it then put it up for adoption and I'm not going to have contact with it or the family, but Luke will".
She nodded "okay that sounds good"

Later that night

I was just about to crawl into bed when I heard my phone go off. I picked it up, and it was a text from Luke.

Luke: hey are you awake?

Ava: yeah why?

Luke: I was thinking, Manet you would want to go to the movies or something tomorrow?

Ava: Luke I can't i have school.

Luke: another time?

Ava: don't take this the wrong way but I don't want to date you, I just want to have the baby and move on with my life

Luke: okay fine sorry for bugging you

I shut my phone off and crawled into bed.

Next day

Beep* beep* beep*

I rolled over shut up my alarm and got out of bed.
I hoped in the shower then blowed dried my hair. I decides to leave it strait. I went back in my room to pick an outfit. I just went with blue skinny jeans, a pink crop Top and black vans. I quickly did my make up and grabbed my back pack

My first Class was chemistry. When I got in there I notice my lab parter wasn't there. Great, I thought I'll be alone today.
Just then someone say next to me, I assumed it was my lab parter but when I looked over it was Eli brown. He was a baseball player and he was also very cute. He had dark hair and blue eyes.

"Um hi what are you doing here?" I asked
"Oh your old lab partner moved schools so mr.T moved me to your lab station since mine had 3 people" she responded.
"Oh cool" I said

The rest of class was actually fun, he was pretty smart, and we worked great together.

When the bell rang I gathered my stuff an was about to leave Jen Eli call my name. "Hey ava I was wondering it you wanted to go out sometime?"

Did he really just ask me out???
I had to say yes, I meant he actually has a future, unlike Luke.

"Yes I would love that" I smiled at him and he smiled back "cool, see ya" he headed off to class
