Ch.21

After Calum left for Australia my dad came back to moms house but by that time I was already at home with Luke.

"What do you want for lunch?" Luke asked opening the fridge
"Not hungry." I told him.
He laughed and sat next to me on the couch. "You. Not hungry. Last week you ate 5 slices of pizza, 3 breadsticks, and a huge salad for dinner. And 10 minutes later I caught you in the kitchen cooking hot dogs."
I laughed. "Yeah. I know, but I'm just thinking." I said.

"About your dad?" He asked.
I nodded. "It's just weird that he's suddenly in my life." I sighed. "I mean, he's going to see the birth of our baby. He wasn't even there for my birth."
Luke put his arm around me. "At least he's here now. He realized his mistake for leaving you. Give him a chance. Please." He begged.
"Okay. Only if you make me a sandwich." I replied.
"Fine" he got up and headed to the kitchen.

Ava 6 months along.

My dad left for Australia last week, but the few weeks he was here wasn't bad. We had lunch almost every day catching up. I was glad he's in my life. I was actually sad to see him leave. But he said he would come back in 3 months so he could be here for the baby's birth.

Luke got a job as a butcher so he didn't have to keep getting money from his dad. Luke still hasn't told his dad about the baby, I told him I should but he said his dad would just make things about him.
As for my mom. She went on a few dates with her boss. I'm happy for her. She needs a man in her life.

"Ava" Luke yelled snapping me out of my thoughts.
"Hmm?" I grumbled.
"Your burning the meat." He laughed.
I looked down. "Shit." I turned off the stove and put the pan on the counter.
"Sorry I was thinking." I laughed
He walked up to me and put his hands on my stomach. "About what?" He asked.

"Everything." I smiled.
"What should we name her" Luke asked.
"Oh I haven't even thought about that." I laughed.
"I ask her." He leaned down and started talking to my belly.
"What do you want your name to be?" He asked the baby.
I laughed. " your a dork." I told him
He stood up and kissed me. "I know. But you love it." He smiled and walked up the stairs.

I smiled to myself. I put my hands on my stomach. It was getting big, only like 3 more months.
"I'm off to work. I'll just pick up food since you burnt mine." He said.
"Jeez sory." I laughed. He smiled and kissed me. "I love you. And I love you." He said putting his hands on my tummy. I smiled. "We love you too."
He walked out the door leaving for work.

That night I was in me an Luke's room folding laundry when I heard singing. So I got up and when in the bathroom where Luke was showering. I heard him singing. And he was really good. I never herd him sing before.

"Damn I didn't know you could sing." I said. He jumped and popped his head out. "You scared the shit out of me" he put his hand on his chest.
"Sorry. That was really good. I didn't know you could sing." I laughed
"Yeah. Back in Australia me and the boys were in a band. But we thought we weren't good enough so we just quit.
"Well you are good enough. That was amazing." I told him.
"Thanks." He smiled.

"You guys should get back together." I blurted.
His eyes widened. "What? No" he chuckled.
"Yeah. There all moving here anyway. You should totally." I begged
"I don't know maybe. But we would need a new name. Are old one is.... Um... Different." He grinned.
"What was it?"  I asked
"The four Aussies." He said quietly.
I busted out laughing. "What the shit." I laughed.

"Okay I know it's bad. Now go so I can shower." He pouted.
"Okay. Hurry up Aussie." I laughed.

Okay. I know it's been a while. But I got a job so I was really busy.
