Toxic Memories

I woke up surrounded by BLI body bags. I looked around at the brown dirt, the sun beaming in my eyes. I stood up and looked around further. All the bags were opened and empty. 'What happened?' I thought as I picked up my ray gun and mask. I noticed foot prints were all around me. I knew the Draculoid foot prints anywhere,  but then I noticed there were others. I almost instantly recognized Cellophan's boot prints. They didn't look too old, but I was kinda annoyed. They didn't even bother to wake me up before they just took off? I started following the foot prints.

About three hours later, I reached the old Killjoy diner. I walked in and spotted Cellophane in the back of the room. "Damn it Cellophane what the hell!? You just left me out there alone!" I yelled as I walked back to her. She stood up and ran to me, hugging me and crying. "Oh my god, Bullet I thought you died!" She yelled. I pried her off me and looked at her confused. "What happened?" I asked. "I'm so sorry I really am!" She yelled. Just then I heard a car pull up. That's odd, no ones been here for ages. I turned around and saw a guy with Fiery red hair and a yellow and blue mask on. At first I couldn't tell who it was, but then I remembered his jacket. "P-POISON!" I yelled, running to him and hugging him tight. "I knew you'd be here! I've searched for you for years!" He said hugging me back. I pulled away and took off my mask. Then I noticed he had someone hiding behind his leg. "Who's that?" I asked nodding at the small child behind him. "This is Missile Kid." He said placing his hand on her back and pushing her forward to greet us. She gave a small wave and then hid behind Poison's leg. I smiled at her. "Hey Kid." I said. She smiled. "Why is she with you? It's dangerous out here Poison." I said standing up. "Me, Kobra, Star, and Ghoul were far out in the zones earlier yesterday and a bunch of Dracs came after us. We started to run but I heard someone scream. I turned around and saw her hiding behind a big rock. I grabbed her and we ran to the car. She said they had been searching for her because she had something they wanted but she didn't know what so we decided she could stay with us. They're still after us, I'm not sure where they are though. That's why I can't stay much longer." He said looking out the window. I followed his gaze and saw something flashing in the distance. "We should go, I think someone's coming." Cellophane said quickly. "Come with us, Ghoul's out in the car. We'll take you to our safe spot." Poison said as he took Missile Kid's hand. I nodded and followed Poison out to the car. When we got outside, we instantly knew who was after us. It was those bloody Dracs. We hopped in the car quickly and Poison started it up. He hit the gas and we flew down the road. The white BLI car was close behind and I saw a hand pop out the window with a ray gun. "LOOK OUT POISON!" I yelled. He sped up and took a sharp turn. We flew in to the dirt and he started driving as fast as he could through the desert. They caught up though. I opened the sun roof and took out my ray gun. I started firing at the Dracs who instantly stopped the car and drove away. I laughed and sat back down in my seat. Poison closed the sun roof and Ghoul turned around. "Nice one." He said winking at me. I took off my mask and sat back. "Hold on, we're almost there." Poison said. Within a few minutes we pulled up to a small house. Kobra and Star were sitting outside with their ray guns in hand. I got out of the car and hugged Kobra. "Let's go inside, I'm hungry." Star said, opening the black screen and walking in. It was cool in there. "How's the android?" Poison asked taking off his mask and moving his fiery red hair out of his face. "She's okay. She needs those battery's soon though. She's getting awfully weak." Star said as he opened the small silver fridge. He pulled out a can of power pup and sat at the table with a spoon. "Damn it.. I don't know when I'll be able to go to battery city next." Poison said. "I could go with you if you wanna go today." I said. Poison smiled at me. "We'll go in a little bit. Let's relax for a while." He said. I nodded and sat at the table next to Star. "You want one Bullet?" Ghoul said holding up a power pup. "Sure." I said, catching the can. He tossed me a spoon as well. I stabbed the top of the can and pryed it open. "So, are you ever gonna tell me what happened earlier?" I said looking at Cellophane who was sitting across the table staring at her can. "Oh uh yeah. We were walking and we heard yelling so we ran to see what happened and we found a bunch of Dracs attacking some Killjoys so we tried to help but there were to many Dracs. Then we decided to just pretend to get shot and we fell on the floor. The rest of the guys got the hint and then next thing I knew, I woke up in a body bag. It was already opened though. I don't know what happened but when I got out I thought you got killed or something because your body bag was empty. I couldn't find you so I just started walking. By the time I woke up the other guys had already left though." She said eating a spoon full of her power pup. "Oh... I forgot everything." I said. "Well.. I wouldn't blame you. One of the Dracs hit out in the head with a rock." She said. "Really?" I asked. "Yeah, I'm not sure what happened after that." She said. My head didn't even hurt, that's strange. I ate a spoon full of my power pup and looked around the small house. There were two couches and a broken TV. The kitchen was small and dirty.
