What now?
Stay positive, stay positive... Always look on the bright side... Keep calm.
I know what I have to do. I'll go home, take a shower and grab my books. It's perfect! But I'll have to go running because I can't waste time.
I leave everything on the table, except my phone of course, and start running out of the school.
I'm running so fast I can't even wait for the traffic-lights to turn green. I'm halfway to my house when something gets in my eye.
Crap.
My left eye starts crying and everything I see is completely blurred up. But I can't stop, not now. I try to take out whatever got in my eye but it only makes it worse. Suddenly I bump into something and hear something else thumping against the ground.
"Hey watch out!" A male voice warns.
Oops, it wasn't something, but someone whose voice reveals he must be around my age, "Oh, I'm really sorry," I crouch to help him pick up whatever fell, but I trip.
"You okay? Stop crying or you will fall again,"He's offering me his hand. I reach out to him but I only find a cold surface.
"I'm here," I hear him laughing behind me, "Are you blind or something? Blind people shouldn't play soccer or run." I'm still in my soccer clothes. That reminds me I gotta go take a shower and study piano.
I turn and someone (I guess it's him) helps me stand up, "I'm not blind, something got in my eye," I'm leaning on him, "Sorry about that and thanks for helping me, I' m in a rush," I move away from him. "Bye," I'm about to start running but something stops me.
"You're not going anywhere," He is grabbing my arm. That's scary, "I'll let you go but first you are going to get whatever got in your eye out."
"Hey I'm not stupid, I've already tried to..." I start saying.
"You can't get it out?" I shake my head no, "I'm taking you to the hospital."
The hospital? What? I barely know this guy!
"What? Are you crazy? You are not taking me anywhere, I'm going home and then back to school!" This dude is freaking me out, "I can't see your face... I don't even know your name!"
"If you can't get it out you have to go to the hospital. Now," He declares.
"I don't have time for this. I need to go home, get my books and go back to school, I have a really important test tomorrow! You don't understand—"
"I do," I hear him say in a deep voice, "You're the one that doesn't."
"Seriously? Ok. Enough. Let me go now or—" I can't keep talking. Not because something closed my mouth but because someone had just stolen my phone.
"If you want your phone back, you will have to come with me," I hear him say. He's behind me now.
I turn to see him. Crap, I want to get whatever got in my eye out, I can't see him! I only see a blurred silhouette, "Come on dude, stop it! I can't waste more time please stop playing, stop, stop..." I'm now sobbing.
