Hayden P.O.V
"I hate Monday's..." I think to myself as I start getting out of bed and getting ready for work. I quickly slip on a simple outfit and put on some makeup. As for my hair I just tied it up into a messy bun. I grabbed my keys and my purse and head out to my car and make my way down to a small, but popular coffee shop in the city. Thankfully I don't work the register, so I don't have to talk to multiple people everyday. Instead, I work in the back and actually prepare the coffee as well as the many sweets and sandwiches the coffee shop also sells.
I park my car and walk in. It's 6:00 am. Great I'm on time. I think to myself. I greet my boss. Ryan. "Good morning sir." "Good morning Hayden. Ready to work?" He asks. "Yes, sir." He smiled. "Okay great, well go in the back and start up the coffee machines." I do as I'm told and start working. Thankfully it wasn't such a busy day. Which was surprising, considering it's Monday. But I wasn't complaining.
I finally get off of work and get a call from Jocelyn. "What's up?" I ask. "Hey, me and Nick are at my place and were thinking of going out to see a movie. Wanna come?" She asks. "Oh sure." I reply. "Alright we'll come get you, where are you?" She asks. "I just got off of work I'm at the coffee shop." I answered. "Oh ok me and nick will be over there soon." She replied. "Okay cool bye."
A few minutes pass and i see Nick and Jocelyn pull up. I sit in the back and greet them. "Oh, hey. Let's go to Julian's and see if he wants to go." I say. "Oh ok, let's stop by his house and see what he's up to." Nick replies. We start driving in the direction of Julian's house and arrive there shortly. Nick knocks on the door a few times and gets no answer. "He's has to be here. Maybe I can find the spare key." He looks under Julian's welcome mat and finds a key. "Alright, let's go find that fucker." Nick says with a chuckle. We walk into the living room and see no one there. "Let's check his room." Nick says. We walk up the stairs and stop in front of his room door. Nick pushes the door open. There he was. Julian was laying on his bed. With a half naked girl on top of him. There mouths locked together. My heart drops, Julian jumps with freight noticing were standing in his door way. Once he notices me his whole expression changed. He looked so guilty. It was written all over his face. He gets off his bed as the girl grabs Julian's bed sheet to cover her exposed body. "What are you guys doing here?" He says walking towards us adjusting his clothing. Nick mutters. "Ummm..." I say nothing and start walking down the large staircase and then walk out the front door. I don't know how to feel. I'm upset, but I have no claim over him. We weren't in a real relationship we only went out a few times. But I couldn't help it. I was falling for him. I speed walk down the street as I hear Julian's door slam open and hear someone start sprinting after me. I don't bother to turn around. I feel a strong hand jerk my body around. "Hayden! I- I'm sorry you saw that. I-." I cut Julian off. "It's whatever...I'm fine." I say trying to hide my true emotions. "No, it's not fine, I really like you, I don't know what I was doing." He says sounding sorrowful. "Honestly, it's you're life, I can't stop you from doing whatever you want to do." I say trying to fight back tears. He grabs my face and kisses me hard. I push away, as I think back to when I saw him locking lips with that other girl that is most likely still in his room laying there. "I can't do this." I say as I get out of his grip and walk away. I could feel his eyes on me as I walked away. I didn't bother turning back, I have no room in my life for drama. I hear footsteps behind me once more as they come closer and closer I turn around. "JUST LEAVE ME AL-" I turn and notice that it was Jocelyn. "Sorry... I thought you were Julian..." I mutter. "It's alright, are you okay?" She asks. "To be honest, I have no idea. Can you just walk home with me? I don't want to be alone." I ask. "But it's such a long walk why don't you just have Nick drive you?" She asks. "I'm not walking back to that house." She stays silent and walks all the way home with me.
We get to the front of my house after about 15 minutes of silent walking. "Whenever you wanna talk, I'm here." She said. "Okay." I mutter as I walk away and enter my home. I slump over on the couch and fall asleep.
