Stephie’s POV

"You look in a good mood today." Nicki said, taking her books out of the locker.

"I am!" Of course I am. I’m in a super good mood.

"Oo.. Something I need to know?"

"Wha- no! It’s nothing like that!"

"Stephie.." She started.

"Nicki.."

"Stephanie! I’m serious!"

"So am I." I smirked.

"We’re getting late for English.. gather all your shit." I said to her.

"Already done." She hit her books on her forehead. I know she doesn’t like English.

We headed towards our class together and my breathing hitched when Harry called my name as we were about to enter the classroom.

Shit, Nicki is gonna kill me.

"Hey!" His hand rested on the wall as breathed heavily, he was in his basketball shorts and a cut sleeves top and was sweaty and god, he looked so hot.

"Hi." I smiled and Nicki gave me a death glare.

"I’ll see you in Stephie." She gave the same look she gave me to Harry and went inside.

Harry’s stare followed her into the room until he asked me:

"You know her?" His face was unreadable.

"Yeah. I do."

"Anyways I wanted my phone." Shit I forgot that I still had his phone.

"Oh yeah! Sorry I forgot!" I shuffled in my bag to find his phone.

"Here." I handed him the phone.

"I’ve been finding you since morning for this little shit." My heart skipped a million beats. Finding you?

"I’m sorry I really forgot about it." I apologized.

"Did any calls or messages come at night?"

"I don’t know. I was all sleepy when I came home so I just threw it in the bag." I half lied.

"Threw it?" He raised his brows. He looks so cute.

"I don’t mean that ‘kay?" I laughed.

"Stephie!" Nicki shouted from inside.

God, girl learn to wait!

"I think I should go." His voice suddenly seemed to have edge to it.

Am I this observant with everyone?

I know he’s all special and shit to me but still.

"Yeah. I’ll also head inside." I said and turned around to head inside back with Nicki.

"What the hell Stephie? Was he the reason you were all smiley this morning?" She spoke a little too loudly to make some heads to turn in our direction.

"No! I already told you Ni! Stop asking the same question again and again!" I yelled back at her and took my seat beside her.

"You better stay away from him." She looked away.

"And why so?"

"I.. don’t know.. he doesn’t seem to be good company." I don’t understand her.

"Whatever." I muttered under my breath.

She kept quite the whole time so I chose not to speak either.
