My Skype session with Louis ended and I didn't know what to do. Monica and Dillion went to Monica's grandma's house for her birthday, which I didn't feel like attending, and I was home alone since Zac and Tasha were at some conference for a couple of days. I guessed swimming was an option. My chair rolled back and hit my desk after I got up, causing me to jump. Stupid chair. I continued to my dresser and searched for my black bikini.

It wasn't in any of my drawers or anywhere in my bedroom. Then I remembered that I went swimming the other day so it was probably in the dryer. The dryer popped open and I dug through the clothes, grabbing my bikini bottom and top when they came into sight.

I slipped back into my bedroom and quickly changed into my bathing suit, taking a hair tie off my side table and putting my hair up into a high ponytail.

The sun rays beamed down right on me when I walked out the back door, making me feel like my skin was on fire. I quickly turned some music on and then used the stairs in the shallow end to slowly make my way into the water. It was refreshing on my skin, making the heat from the sun disappear.

I sat on the stairs for a couple seconds, to get use to the water, and then became to slowly swim to the deep end, where my pizza slice floatie was aimlessly wandering. The top of it was scorching from the sun hitting it for so long so I flipped it over and laid on the ugly brown side, letting the top of it cool down in the water.

This time, I didn't have to worry about Louis sneaking up and on me and causing me to fall in the water. Unless someone else decided to do it this time. I opened my eyes and slightly lifted my head to try and listen for anybody. Silence. The coast was clear.

After about ten minutes on both sides, I slipped off my floatie, right into the water. The water was freezing on my body, since I had gotten so heated up by the sun, but it felt amazing. It made me feel happy that my brother had gotten a house with a pool. I swam from one end of the pool to the other a few times before calling it a day and going back inside.

I kept my towel around my body, too lazy to change, and made myself comfortable in my office chair, my head resting on my hand as my other one tapped on my desk. What to do, what to do. Maybe binge watch some show on Netflix? Take a nap? Go for a drive?

I wasn't tired enough to take a nap and I wasn't in the mood for driving. Binge watching it was. I made my way out to the living room and plopped down on the couch, turning on the TV and navigating to Netflix. The Walking Dead popped up on my continue watching list and without hesitation, I went for it, continuing on watching the fourth season.

While it loaded, I quickly headed to my room and threw on some shorts and a crop top that showed off a large portion of my stomach. I made my way to the kitchen to get a snack and stopped halfway through opening the pantry door. Cookies! I could make some homemade cookies! Chocolate chip, sugar, snickerdoodle. My smile grew large at the thought of all the cookies.

I paused the show and grabbed my belongings from my room, locking the door behind me before getting into my car and taking a trip to the grocery store. While walking through the parking lot up to the doors, I searched the cookie recipes on my phone, creating a mental list of all the things I needed that I didn't have at home.

Vanilla extract, chocolate chips, cinnamon, baking powder, shortening, baking soda, and cream of tartar. I was almost positive I had everything else I needed at home. Check-out went quickly and I tossed both of the bags into the bag seat.

After returning home, I tossed the bags onto the counter, quickly taking everything out of the bag and displaying it on the counter. I grabbed the sugar, flour, brown sugar, salt, eggs, and butter, setting all of those beside the newly bought groceries on the counter.
