A few weeks passed and honestly things have been going well. Camila's father hasn't shown up and even though Camila is a little upset over it, she knows it's for the best. Hailee hasn't played a role in our relationship despite her and Camila being partners for Mrs. H's class. I've been learning to be more confident in myself and my relationship and I know that Camila cares about me, the same way I care about her. Maybe not as much though.

Camila and I have also been staying at each other's houses for quite some time now. I just don't want her to be alone, not to mention I really enjoy it when WE are alone, that is whenever Dinah and Normani don't tag along.

Don't get me wrong I love the both of them very much and I know that they are worried about Camila but sometimes I just need some alone time with my girlfriend.

"Lauren pay attention" Normani snaps her fingers jerking me back to reality.

"What were we talking about again?" I ask.

"Your girlfriend's birthday party that we're supposed to be planning. Pay attention come on." My best friend replies annoyed.

Mani gets VERY serious when she's planning a party, I swear you would think it's a matter of life and death.

"Okay okay. I still say we should keep it small, just friends and family." I chip in because I know how Camila is and I know she hates parties despite a party being the thing that, in a way brought us together.

"Nah the girl needs to let loose, the whole school is invited." Mani replied and I let out an annoyed sigh.

"What exactly was the point in asking me to help when you won't listen to whatever I say anyway?" I asked my best friend.

"You just sit there looking pretty and let Dinah and I be in charge of the party." Normani squeezed my cheek and I slapped her hand away.

"I actually agree with Lauren though, Camila would prefer small." Dinah interrupted her girlfriend and I couldn't  help but laugh at the way that sentence was phrased.

"Okay you both can sit there looking pretty and I'll be in charge of the party and Lauren grow up." Mani chuckled.

Dinah and I both got up and let Mani focus on the party that's supposed to be for Camzi.

"Where is Mila anyway?" Dinah asks and we walk towards the kitchen to get a snack and escape Normani.

"She's at Hailee's house, Hailee was failing the class and Mrs. H gave her some extra work to catch up and of course she can't do it so she asked Camila for help." I grab a soda trying to forget that my girlfriend is at her ex's house.

"Don't worry, Camila cares a lot about you, Hailee isn't even a friend it's just that since they're partners if Hailee is failing that can affect Camila's grade too." Dinah smiles reassuringly.

I know that I'm supposed to be learning to feel confident in our relationship but that's hard to do when your girlfriend is spending more time with another girl than she is with you.

"Yeah I know. We have a date later tonight though so please don't come over to my house. It's just going to be me and her, my parents are on a vacation and Taylor and Chris are both spending the night with a few friends." I tell Dinah and hope that she actually pays attention.

I planned the day out and tonight is the night that I will finally tell Camila the three words that I've been wanting to tell her since we met.

"Oh I don't think that will be an issue, I'm not sure Normani will even leave that seat she's in until she has every detail of the party done." Dinah laughed lightly as she sat on the counter.
