Chapter Five:

Kenzie's P.O.V-

The food was long gone and we are a good part way through the alcohol. The night sky was painted red as the sun was saying it's last goodbyes and the air was getting colder.

'Hey guys should we move this inside?' I asked finishing the last of my drink.

'Yeah lets, it's getting a bit chilly.' Ruby said rubbing her arms as if to demonstrate said chilliness. So we grabbed all our shit an headed indoors. Where Ruby put some music on in the background. I was in the kitchen pouring myself a drink when I looked over to see Jensen leaning in the doorway watching me with a slight side smile showing one of his dimples.

'You okay?' I asked

'Great I have a full stomach a beer in my hand and a beautiful girl to look at, what more ca a guy need?'

'Stop it.' I blushed he pushed himself off and looked back to the others,he closed the door and walked over to me

'Kenzie, I uh-' he walked over to me placing his beer own on the counter and stood in front of me bcking me up against the counter, he put one hand behind me leaning against the counter while his other hand reached up and brushed some of my lilac hair out my face. His hand then rested on my cheek. Before I knew it his lips were crashing down on mine. I instantly push him away

'I can't.... I'm sorry Jensen I just can't.' I said grabbing my drink and heading into the lounge with Ruby and Norman, putting on a smile.

'Everything okay?' Ruby asked

'Of course.' I said downing my drink. 'We need to get this party really started.' I grin and grab a bottle of sambuca.

That was the last thing I remember, until I woke up on the couch in the morning, Ruby was curled up on the couch and the guys were no where to be seen. I got up groaning as a pain hit me in the head. I walked to the kitchen grabbing pain killers and a glass of water and it was then I noticed the not on the fridge.

Had a great night girls, we had to go but will be in contact real soon. J x

I tossed it in the trash and walked up the stairs and took a shower, once I came out I felt a little better as the painkillers took effect. I dress in my lay about clothes that consisted of grey baggy jogger pants and a over sied baggy slipknot tee that belonged to an ex. I made my way down stairs to find Ruby on the phone in the kitchen as she sipped of a mug of coffee

'Okay Natalie, right I will do, right take care bye now.' and with that she hung up. Natalie is our oldest sister

'What was Nat wanting?' I asked pouring my own coffee

'Just making sure we were still travelling to Louisiana next week for the bachelorette party and wedding, oh and to remind us we have a plus one.'

'Well we are bridesmaids we kind of have to be there. Oh yeah like I have anyone to go with.' I laugh taking a seat

'Speaking of do you know what our dresses looks like yet?' Ruby asked

'Nope she said it was a secret.'
