chapter 6

-----------STILL ALEXS POV------------

I decided to take Noah's advice and ask Chloe if she would go to the dance with me. It was a fancy dance so all of the guys had to wear tuxedos and all of the girls had to wear dresses. I don't really think Chloe is going to say no but you can never be too sure. I have an idea on how to ask her but it will be at the dance instead of before.

*skip to Friday*

-------------CHLOES POV---------------

Its Friday and Alex hasn't asked me to go to the dance with him. I guess he isn't going to. I'm still going even though I don't have a date because its supposed to be the biggest dance of the year and I didn't want to be the only one not going.

I bought a perfect dress for the dance. It was turquoise (Alex's fav color (;) and had sparkles all over it. It was just above my knees and was strapless. I got dressed and put on turquoise eye shadow. I walked down stairs and put on high heels that matched my dress and yelled for my mom.

"Mom I'm ready!" I yelled. She came down stairs and put her shoes on. "Did Alex ever ask you to the dance?" She asked as we got in the car. "Nope." I replyed.

*Skip car ride*

When we got there I got out of the car and walked inside. I was greeted by Noah and Kaleb as soon as I walked in. "Hey Chloe!" they both said. "Hey guys! Have you seen Alex?" I asked them. "Nope haven't seen him all day." Noah said. "Oh ok well that's weird." I said.

Then all of the lights went off and only the stage lights were on. Then I heard a very familiar voice start talking through the microphone. "Ok guys before we get this dance started I just wanted to sing this song for a very special girl."

I walked over to the stage, and saw Alex  on the stage next to the microphone. The music go "I like you too" started. Alex started singing and looked at me the WHOLE time.

He sang the rest of the song while still keeping his eyes on me the whole time. When he was done singing he got off stage and walked towards me.

"Hey Chloe!" he said. "Hey Alex." I said. "Well if you haven't figured it out ready, I like you too is kinda about you." he said. I could feel my heart start racing and my palms getting sweaty. "Oh uh yeah it is." I said. "So um Chloe will you be my girlfriend?" He asked.

so guys sorry I can't update fast anymore I have cheer leading, school, and gymnastics like everyday and don't have enough time to write anymore but I promise I will try my best and you guys should go read my new story!!! Its called I fell in love with my best friend. Please go read it!!!
