Chapter 28

I looked over to where the voices were coming from. My eyes stopped on two people that I never thought I would see again. My old best friends, Sophia and Zach. I used to have the hugest crush on Zach before I moved. It doesn't matter though because he would never like me back.

"Excuse me for just one moment." I told everyone. I got up from the table and headed over to Sophia and Zach's table. "Omg Chloe! It really is you!" Sophia squealed. "Yep! its me!" I said. Sophia got up and gave me a giant bear hug. "I've missed you soooo much." she told me.

Then Zach got up. "Hey don't forget me! I missed you too!" he said hugging me. "Trust me, I've missed you too." I whispered. We were still hugging. I don't think either of us wanted to let go, but before either of us could say another word, someone behind me cleared their throat. We pulled away and turned to see who it was.

It was Jessie. "Mind introducing us?" she asked. Everyone was over by us now except Alex's parents and Rachel. "Oh yeah! These are my old friends, Sophia and Zach. And this is Alex, Jessie, Noah, Kaleb, Issy, and Angela." I said pointing to everyone as I said their name. "Nice to finally meet you guys!" Jessie said to Sophia and Zach.

Alex looked sad and angry for some reason. Why would he be mad for me seeing my old friends? "How about we all go sit down and let Chloe eat with them and catch up?" Noah suggested. "Yeah let's let them talk." Jessie said. They all walked back to the table and sat down. Alex looked right into my eyes before sitting down. Was he trying to tell me something.

Rachel pulled him to sit down breaking our gaze. I pulled up a chair at Sophia and Zach's table. "So, why are you here, and with so many people?" Sophia asked me. "Well you see my friend Alex, he Dj's, sings, and dances. Austin Mahone wanted him to open for him on tour so he's on tour with him, and Pennsylvania is his second stop." I told her. "Oh, are you and Alex dating?" Zach asked me.

Why would he ask me that? "Um no. Why?" I asked nervously. "No reason." he said. "Do you guys know what you want to drink?" the waitress came up to us and asked. We ordered our drinks then looked at the menus to see what we wanted to eat. "So, Sophia. Do you have a boyfriend yet?" I asked her. "No. There's no guy I really like right now." she told me.

"How about you Zach, got a girlfriend?" I asked. "Nope, but I do really like this one girl. I've liked her since 1st grade." he said. Wait. 1st grade is when I first met Zach.

*Flashback*

It was my first day in a new school. I was so nervous that I wouldn't make any friends. At the beginning of class we were allowed to draw and color at the tables. I went and sat down at a table that nobody was sitting at. I grabbed a piece of paper and crayons. Just then a little boy sat down next me. "Hi I'm Zach." he said. "I'm Chloe" I said. "Wanna be best friends?" he asked me. "Yeah!" I told him. "Promise we'll always be best friends. Forever?" he asked me. "I promise. Forever and ever!" I said. "Let's pinky promise on it." he told me. We locked our pinkies together. "Now its official" he said.

*End of Flashback*

That day I drew Zach and I on that piece of paper and Zach colored it. I still have it to this day. I haven't taken it out of my suitcase since I moved because I think I would have cried if I did. Zach wouldn't really have a crush on me? Would he? I'm just happy that I finally get to see Sophia and him again after so long.
