Chapter 34

"Your breaking up with me!?" he asked shocked. "Um yeah... We won't be able to see each other while I'm on tour, and I don't think long distance is going to work" I lied. "We can make it work Chloe! I promise." he told me. "I don't think so Zach, I'm sorry" I said as I walked back into the living room.

I went and gathered all of my stuff and left a note for Sophia. I won't see her in the morning since we have to leave early to get to New Jersey. I walked out the door and started walking to the hotel. When I got to our room I slowly crept inside hoping nobody heard. "Chloe?" I heard someone ask when I came in. Just my luck.

"Yes?" I asked whoever called my name. Angela came over to me and dragged me out of the room into hallway. "Why are you here? Aren't you supposed to be with Zach?" she asked. "Um yeah... About that..." I said. "You two broke up!!!?" she asked excitedly. "Um yeah. Why do you seem so excited?" I asked her confused. "Because Alex and Rachel broke up today!!!" she squealed.

I covered her mouth with my hand. "Shhhh" I said. "There are people sleeping." We both started a laughing. "So why did they break up? And why are you so excited when Rachel is your best friend?" I asked. "I'll let him tell you in the morning" she said with a huge grin. "And because she's really rude. I'm not friends with her anymore."

She told me. "Oh. I'm sorry Angela." I said. "Its okay. She's leaving tomorrow too." she said with a smile then walked back into the room, leaving me in the hall alone.

*ALEXS POV*

*Beep*.... *Beep*.... *Beep*.... I woke up to my alarm clock buzzing in my ear. Ugh. This should be illegal to wake up at 5:00 A.M. I got out of bed and got dressed for the day then gathered up all of my stuff from the hotel room. When I got everything together, I walked into the hallway.

As soon as I walked out, so did Chloe. "We really need to stop doing this" Chloe said laughing. "Haha. Yeah." I said awkwardly. We both walked to the elevator in silence. "So, I heard you and Rachel broke up." she said breaking the silence. "Oh. Yeah we did." I said. The elevator came and we both got on.

"Angela said that she wanted you to tell me why." she said. "Oh. Well, it was because of you Chloe. I really like you still. I was so stupid to break up with you before. You are perfect in every way. I just got together with Rachel to try and make you jealous. When I saw you with Zach, my heart shattered. What I'm saying doesn't matter because you have a boyfriend." I said.

Before I could say anything else, Chloe started kissing me. I of course kissed back immediately. The elevator doors opened and we were still kissing. I didn't even care. "Ooohhh. Get some Alex!" someone yelled outside the elevator. We both pulled away laughing. We both walked out of the elevator before it closed.

"I thought you liked Zach." I said. "I broke up with him yesterday." she said. "Why?" "Because I realized I'm in love with you." she said. I took her hand and intertwined our fingers. "I'm in love with you too."
