I placed the last box of mine on the floor. I looked around my empty room, seeing that I won't be having a roommate for a while. I was hoping to meet someone new to share a room with and introduced me to a whole lot of people and stuff but I guess it can still happen, I yet so have to socialize out in public.
"I'm exhausted." Kenny groans, throwing himself on my bed. My bed!
"Remind me to buy like 5 fans." I breathe out, wiping my forehead with the back of my hand.
"Remind me to never wear jeans in the summer."
"Just because you graduated from high school, doesn't mean you can stop wearing those stupid basketball shorts." I giggle, pulling my boyfriend up from off of my bed.
"They're not stupid. They're comfortable." He marks.
I smile and shook my head. "Yeah well thanks for helping me move."
"Hey, it's no problem." He smiles sweetly, placing his hand on my face, moving a piece of strand behind my ear. "So, what did your parents say when you told me them that you were moving out?"
Shit.
"Oh! They seemed pretty... sad but they're happy for me that I'm all grown up now." I said quickly, knowing its a complete lie. I didn't tell my parents yet about me moving out. Heck, they haven't given me the chance to.
"Really? We should have dinner with them soon, babe." He smiles.
"Sure. But right now their schedule is a bit tight right now so-"
"Hey hey! Did you hear the music over on- Oh. Hi Kenny." Chelsea says as she stumbles into my room, stopping mid track when she saw my boyfriend.
"Hey Chels," He stretches out.
"Calum and Luke are coming in." Chels announces.
I nodded, pulling Kenny's head against my chest as I play with his soft hair. Knowing him, he'll get up any time soon and make up an excuse so he can leave so he doesn't have to stick around with my friends and I.
"Dylan's roommate better be hot as fuck-"
"Shut up, Luke."
Two of my favorite guys stood behind Chelsea, stopping mid track too. "Hi, Dylan!" Luke said in a happy voice.
"Hey D, Kenny." Calum nodded towards Kenny.
"Where's your roommate?" Luke asks.
"I don't have one just yet, Luke." I giggle, twirling my finger around a strand of Kenny's hair.
"Sick! So you have the room to yourself for now?"
"Yeah." I nodded.
Kenny patted my waist, indicating for me to let go. "I have to go home."
"No you don't-"
"Yes I do, Dylan." He sighs, slowly pushing me off.
I rolled my eyes. "Fine. I'll walk you out."
"No, it's fine." He says, shaking his head.
"I want to." I said sternly.
He pressed his lips in a thin line, shaking his head as we walk towards my door. "Your friends are here. Just don't worry about me."
But I didn't care. I grabbed his face, kissing him. I pushed my tongue pass his lips, colliding with his. He gripped my waist, pulling away. He's my boyfriend and I don't care if my friends hate him and sees us kissing, he's mine.
