The Fight

"Oh you are so going to regret that!" Alyssa growls at me.

"Oh yeah? Bring it," I growl right back at her. While I'm looking at my friends thinking Alyssa isn't going to do anything, Alyssa turns around and punches me right in the nose.

"Oh that's it," I say as I punch her in the face. We both have a bloody nose and her lip is busted open when a crowds starts to form. I punch her in the eye and dodge her next punch. "MAR-I-ANNE, MAR-I-ANNE," I hear someone cheering me on but can't see much more then a quick glance because I'm dodging another punch.

"It doesn't have to be this way Alyssa," I say as she tries to punch me again. "Why are you doing this?"

"Because you're a little twerp who can't learn to shut-up and keep her nose out if my business!" She tells as she gives me a good punch to the head which causes me to fall to the ground.

"Okay Alyssa, I tried to give you another chance but you just blew it!" I say as I get up with a black eye and blood everywhere. I dodge her next punch and punch her again. I trip her legs and she falls to the ground hitting her head. I give her one last punch to the temple and then stand up. When I stand up the other girls run away muttering about something about me standing up for myself. I walk over to Rose and Emily who are standing wide eyed at me.

"What was that?!?" Emily asks me.

"I don't really know, I just got courage to stand up for myself once they messed with you two," I explain.

"Well whatever that was you're in big trouble now Marianne!" Rose says with a smile but with sympathy in her eyes. Oh no! I forgot all about the consequences, especially with Alyssa knocked out in the hallway.

"I don't care what that was or any consequences, Marianne that was AWESOME!!!" Emily exclaims.

"Well let's get to class before we are late," Rose says. As we are walking I get a phone call.

" Who is it from?" Emily asks.

"Who would be calling at this time?" Rose asks.

" I don't know, it says unknown number," I reply.

"Well answer it real fast... class doesn't start for another 5 minutes," Emily tells me.

"Okay, guys I'll let you know what it says," I tell both of them.

"Okay," they both answer.

I answer the call and it says," Marianne, we need your help. Meet up under the bridge in town square. No one can know about this, okay? We hope to see you there," the call ends. I don't know if I should go it if I should stay. Is this someone's idea of a prank? What am I going to do?!
