chapter 5

      Jackie is driving, humming to the song on the radio. I honestly needed Jackie to come with me to see his parents. If they don't love me, they'll definetly love Jackie. I text Liam shes coming and he replies with "Ok, cool."

I put my phone down and freeze. "Hey, do you still have the emergency hunger kit we made a few days ago?" I ask her with curiosity.

"Yeah it's in the back." She says casually. I quickly hop over the seat and grab the box. I sit back down and hug the box. "You okay there?" Jackie says and laughs.

I nod and open the box. In the box are three bags of sour gummy worms, four bags of doritos, snickers bars, and other emergengy snacks. Wait a second- theres only two packs of sour gummy worms.. I look at Jackie and squint my eyes in a "you cruel beast" type of look.

"So, what happened to the bag of sour gummy worms, huh?" I question her.

"I ate them..? Duh?" She says bluntly. I can't with this girl sometimes. I grab a snickers bar, unwrap it, and take a bite out of it. "This is heaven." I say while holding the snickers bar to the top of the car.

"Pass me a kit kat will you kind sir." Jackie says in an accent. "Wow, such beautiful manner skills." I say sarcastically and laugh while handing her a kitkat.

"Why does your boyfriend live so far?!" Jackie says jokingly, biting into her kitkat after unwrapping it.

"Because they have alot of money and need space for their huge mansion." I joke around. But I mean, I'm telling the truth. Ive been over to his house before when his parents were on buisness trips, and I once got lost trying to find the bathroom.

"Liam's brother is gonna be there he told me" I say as I finish up my chocolate bar.

"Oh really? How far apart are they?" Jackie asks, eyes fiercely on the road ahead as she chews her kitkat.

"One year." I say casually and hear her say, "huh." Ooh. Why did she wanna know... Hehehe.

I close the box and put it in the back. I look up and see lights appearing, then I see the house.

"Holy crap." Jackie says with awe, staring at the house as she drives. Then we see a man that signals us to exit our car.

"Hello ladies, you must be Jackie and Avery, I'll park your car in the back." The man says with a sweet smile. That was Liam's butler. Yes. Butler.

We smile back and Jackie hands him the keys. He opens the gate for us and we enter the house. Immediatly I see him. He pulls me into a hug.

"You're here right time, my parents don't get here for another ten minutes." He says and smiles. He looks at Jackie and pulls her into a friendly hug. "Hey Jackie" he says.

Jackie smiles and waves. "Where's the kitchen?" She immediately asks, raising her eyebrows.

"Its down this hallway to the left..?" Liam responds with a confused look. I look at him and laugh.

We walk up two sets of stairs, go into the hallway and go into his room. We both sit on his bed. And then...... We play video games.

He turns his Wii U on and puts Just Dance on. One of the dances we do, I have to jump on his back.

"Get off, I need to do the next move!" He whines struggling to push me off of his back.

I laugh and hold on tighter. And then.. He SLAMS me onto the bed and laughs and keeps doing his dance moves. Who does this little-

My thoughts are interrupted by Derik knocking on the door and coming into his room. "Woah, what is going on here?" He says and wiggles his eyebrows.

"Derik don't just walk into my room, also we weren't doing anything you pervy teenage boy." Liam says as he walks towards Derik.

"Yeah whatever, Mom and Dad are here." He says and walks down the hallway.

"Ready to meet them?" Liam says, turning around to me and smiling.

"Yeah" I say. But honestly, I have no idea how this is gonna go.
