chapter Part 10

~Jackie's Pov~

               "When do I try out?" Avery asks me while we're in the car on our way home. "Well she never said a specific date, you just gotta try out." I responded. " So where exactly are we going?" I asked. "Well you see according to my phone, the nearest Pokémon gym is at Starbucks so I guess where going to Starbucks." Avery responded. Ever since we downloaded the game Pokemon go we've been addicted, no joke.

Once we arrived Avery ordered a Double choco chip frap while I ordered hot chocolate. We decided to walk around the park and just hang out. " So, what happened there between you and Derek?" Avery said while wiggling her eyebrows. "What do you mean?"  I questioned while trying to hold in my blush.

"You know, when he asked if you had a boyfriend and then he said not yet." She smirked. " Maybe he was just curious.. Plus he's probably not ready for another relationship." I said in a sad tone. " Come on, he's totally into you."

"Maybe.." I blushed a little.

"GUESS WHO?!" All of a sudden I felt two pair of hands cover my eyes. I screamed and turned around and threw my hot chocolate at the stranger. He jumped back and once I saw who it was I freaked out.

" JAKE DON'T SCARE ME LIKE THAT!!" I punched my older brother  Jake playfully on the arm.He's 4 years older than me so that makes him 21 years old. He's still in college working for his bachelor's degree. He wants to become an Actor when he graduates.

Ever since we were kids He always wanted to become an actor and make people smile. In third grade when he tried out for the role of the prince in Cinderella, he was rejected and didn't get the part. Once he found out, he was devastated but never gave up and he kept his cool. Soon he was accepted into a program to help young soon to be actors/actress.  Ever since that day I always wanted to become a Actress and a Singer/Musician.

We have been always been there to support one another on our dreams. I idolized him and He also Idolizes me.

"Whoa chill little sis. It's just me." He looked at me with a fearful expression. "Sorry... but you still owe me a new drink." I responded. " Anyways what are you doing here?" I asked.

"Well I got out of school early and I decided to take a walk around. How about you girls?" Jake asked pointing at me and Avery. "Don't tell me... ARE YOU GUYS FINALLY ON A DATE!?" He shouted with excitement. "WHAT?! NO?!" I shouted. "I TOLD YOU WE'RE JUST FRIENDS!!"

" AND I have a boyfriend!" Avery cried out. " I'm just joking." Jake responded. "But I still ship it." He mumbled.. "How are you and Dylan doing?" I smirked. Dylan is my brother's boyfriend. Jake had feelings for Dylan but he was scared to confess his feelings.

Last week Dylan came over and slept over at the house. My mom was out on a 2 day vacation so it was just me and Jake The next day in the morning Dylan confessed his feelings to Jake and ever since that day, they have been dating for the past few day and once my mom came home from vacation, Jake confessed he was Gay.

She was shocked and ever since that day she hasn't talked to him for two days and he had accepted the fact she was ashamed of him. He moved in with Dylan so he doesn't have to face mom everyday and hear her remarks.

When mom left on her business trip, He came back home to keep an eye on me. Ever since she left we haven't spoken to mom for a while.

" He's fine, he's spending the night at our house because later on we're going out to the movies." He blushed a bit. " AWW What movie are you guys gonna watch." Avery squealed in excitement.

"I wanted to watch Independence day but Dylan wanted to watch the Purge: Election day so we're gonna watch the purge." Jake said as he cringed. "Good luck and don't wet your pants." I smirked. " I gotta go, I'll see you back home. Don't forget to get the mail." He shouted as he walked away.

"okay." I shouted. " So where are we off to now?" I asked Avery. " Do you wanna hang out at your house?" She asked. "Sure." I responded as he head back into the car.
