chapter eleven

KAYLA'S POV

"hey, baby?"

I heard Kellin's voice at the bottom of the stairs and walked out of our room to the railing to see him & Bryce ready to leave.

"what's going on?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.

"just going to grab lunch. what do you want?"

his smile melted my heart, and I told him to surprise me.

he walked out the door, and I just stood there for a few seconds. scrolling through my twitter.
I heard the door open, and looked down to see kellin setting Bryce's carseat on the floor and sprinting up the stairs; taking them two at a time.

"did yo-"
I was cut off by his lips crashing into mine. I wrapped my arms around his neck and deepened the kiss.

"can't believe i forgot that"

he whispered in my ear, making me laugh.

"I love you Kellin."

"I love you too"

he smiled and kissed my forehead before leaving again.
I walked back through our room and took my clothes off on the way.
I turned on the water, and put on my All Time Low/Pierce The Veil playlist on.
I stepped into the steaming water and started washing my hair, thinking about how well things were going and how happy I was.
'Does it get any better than this?'

LEAH'S POV

I leaned over Oli to grab Bryce out of his seat, and we all began to make our way inside.

"okay, you guys come in quietly and go in the living room. I'll go up and see what Kayla is doing." Kellin said as we walked up the few stairs to the porch.

"I'm so excited!" Megan said quietly, holding onto Vic tightly.
I just smiled in return, feeling Oli's arm wrap around my waist.
I looked down to find Bryce's cute little eyes drooping, and his tiny mouth forming a perfect o.
I smiled even wider, and made my way to one of the couches with Oli.
Vic and Megan sat across from us, smiling with excitement.

KELLIN'S POV
I set the food and diaper bag down on the counter, silently thankful for the extra hands carrying my son inside. I turned and winked at the two couples in my living room, and made my way upstairs.
I could hear music, the blowdryer, and Kayla singing along as I opened our bedroom door.

"the stars on your ceiling they glow, but not for you!" her beautiful voice filled the bathroom as I wrapped my hands around her from behind.
I kissed her cheek, and could feel the warmth of her blushing.

"how long were you listening to me?"
she asked, turning around and kissing me gently.

"long enough to know that you enjoy Vic's voice more than mine" I said grinning.

"oh whatever!" she said smacking my chest. laughing, she continued, "where's my boy?"

"I'm right here, " I said quietly, kissing her deeply and lifting her up, sitting her on the counter. she kissed back with enthusiasm, and tangled her hands in the back of my hair.
I smiled through the kiss, and abruptly turned and started walking away.

I heard her groan behind me, and I chuckled.
I heard light footsteps and then she jumped on my back, clinging to me like a monkey.

"carry me!" she yelled, laughing as I stumbled forward, her long hair falling around my shoulders.

"anything, princess." I said, as I regained balance and hooked my hands under her butt for support.

she laughed and kissed my neck, sending shivers down my spine.
