The next morning I wake up to loud beeping. I slam my hand down on the alarm clock and quickly get up out bed. I head over to my bathroom first and take a shower.

Once I'm done with my shower and I wash my face then put on moisturizer. While I let the moisturizer sit I walk to my closet to find my outfit for school. I look through all my pants, shirts, skirts, tees, tanks, and cardigans but I decide on a dress.

The dress I pick out is white with black stripes, and it's in the shape of a baseball tee on the top. It's very simple with just stripes, it stops mid thigh and also has pockets.

I take out my white high top converse and set them out side my door.

I walk back into my bathroom and brush my teeth and blow dry my hair. I don't want to overdo my hair, mainly cause I never cared so much for school, but also because I want a nice eyeshadow. I wrap my hair into a messy bun and walk back to my vanity.

I start applying my makeup, and I get a call. I walk back over to my bed and unplug it from the charger. I press accept and sit down at the vanity again.

"Hey it's Kyle." Kyle says into the phone.

"Hey." I say back. I put him on speaker phone while I do the last finishing touches on my makeup.

"How about that ride this morning." A smile starts to creep on my face and before I could actually think about I blurt out a long sentence.

"Actually I would love to ride to school with you I mean if that's still okay with you!" I realize what I said and I cover my mouth not wanting more to slip out.

"Haha I knew you'd be begging." I figured as much that he was smirking so I uncovered my mouth to reply.

"Your ego is out of control." We start laughing together and I spray on some setting spray so makeup last all day, and I walk over to put my shoes on.

I grab my phone after getting them on and I look my self in full length mirror. I smooth out some wrinkles and walk back inside my closet to put on some jewelry and grab my sunglasses. I also unhook my purse and head out of my bedroom with my backpack on my shoulder and my phone in my hand.

I take Kyle of speaker phone and raise my phone to my ear.

"How about you come over in 10." I tell him.

"That's perfect. I'll see you then." He answers.

"Bye." I hang up and slip my phone into my purse. I grab and apple and decide to go sit on the porch.

I sit down on the porch rocker and eat my apple while I wait for Kyle.

I finish up the last bite and stand up to throw it into the compost, when Kyle pulls up into my driveway in a black Silverado.

He hops down from the car and goes to the other side to open the door for me. I walk up the car and Kyle holds out it hand for me hold while I jump up into the seat.

He closes the door as I buckle my seat belt and walks over to the other side and gets in. He buckles up as well and turns the engine on. He checks behind the car to make sure no one is behind us on the road and he pulls out.

"Good morning Cutie." He reaches over and wraps his hand slightly around my head and scratches my neck a little. Not like a harsh scratch but a soft one that sent shivers through my body.

He then sets his hand down on the center counsel and taps to the beat of the song that's playing on the radio.

I reach over and turn up the volume. I start singing along to my favorite part of the song.

"You got to move it slowly, take and eat my body like its holy. I've been waiting for you for the whole week. I've been praying for you your my Sunday candy." I stop mid sentence of the next part and look over at Kyle.

His jaw is drooping down, and his eyes are bulging out. "Holy shit you can sing." He closes his mouth and starts laughing. I laugh along with him.

After a few minutes of just talking and listening to music we pull into the schools parking lot.

He parks and gets out of the car, walking over to my side and opening the door for me. I unbuckle and hold his hand again, I jump down almost tumbling on top of Kyle.

He closes the door, and kindly grabs my backpack to hold. "Where's your backpack?" I ask.

"I don't bring my backpack on the first day." He said cockily.

"Oh." is all I say in response. "So why didn't drive Delainee?" I ask.

"She goes to an all girls private school." He answers as he holds the door open for me to walk through.

I head to my locker, that I was given before I moved here when my mom set up all the classes for me. I unlock the door and Kyle hands me backpack. I stuff it into my locker, and just hold on to my purse. I pull out the slip of paper I had and read out my classes.

"Choir, Chemistry, Algebra, Art, History, and English class." I finish.

"Ooh neat I have second, fourth, lunch, and sixth hour with you." Kyle beams looking down at his paper. Kyle and I start walking towards my first hour, and I meet up with Hailey. Apparently we have almost the same schedule except she doesn't have Algebra she has Pre Algebra and her 4th and 6th hour are switched.

"I'll see you next hour." Kyle gives me a side hug and walks down the hall a little to his first class. Hailey winks at me and me both start laughing.

Hailey and I walk inside the classroom and quickly find a seat. The bell rings about two minutes into our conversation and the class starts.

"Hello class I'm Ms. Deborah, I'll be your choir instructor. This is Mrs. C and she'll be our pianist." Ms. Deborah tells Mrs. C to hand out some packets and then Ms. Deborah goes through them.

She names off all the kids in the class and we all say here.

Basically all that happened in the class was the teacher put us into groups, told us what we're doing for the semester and so on.

After the bell ringed for us to go to next hour, me and Hailey went to our lockers. We told each other we would meet up if we had the same lunch.

I went to the vending machine to grab a water when someone sneaks up behind me and places their hands on my shoulder. I let out a cry and the person, aka Kyle, told me quiet down. I grab my water and turn towards Kyle.

"Ready for next hour?" I nod my head and we walk to our second hour, Chemistry.

So basically the rest of the day went like that. Except for lunch. When I went to lunch Hailey told me that she begged and pleaded for the same lunch as me, but it didn't work out so well. So in the end I got to sit with three guys. Kyle, Nathan, and Carter. I mean they're great friends in all but I wanted some girl time.

Maybe next semester, but I don't need to think about that right now because today was only the first day.
