After the bell let us out, I bolted for the door, expecting to meet with Maddie by the vending machines. I couldn't wait to tell her every single little detail about what had just happened.

I anxiously looked around for her, eventually spotting her and her brightly colored backpack. I smiled wide, pulling her by the arm towards me, "MADDIE! GUESS WHAT JUST HAPPENED!"

She sighed and gave a smile, "What? What just happened, Bee?"

I leaned in and whispered in her ear, "Will has my number and I'm going to his house later."

I pulled back quickly, looking at her expression. Her eyes grew big and her mouth dropped open,"WHAT?!"

I laughed and jumped up and down, clapping my hands like a little child. I probably looked absolutely silly to anyone who was walking by.

Maddie gave in and laughed, "I told you it would happen today! I'm so happy for you, Bianca!"

I pulled her into a giant hug and told her bye, as my next class was soon starting. I couldn't wait for this school day to be over, so I could go home and replay what had happened.

I excitedly ran to my next class, moving swiftly past everyone walking in the hallway. I couldn't stop the smile from forming on my face, it grew on its own.

I swung open the door to my next class, history, and practically ran to my usual seat next to Mitchell. He looked at me as though I was insane.

"Bee, are you okay? You look happier than usual." He asked, a confused tone in his voice

"I couldn't be better!" I gave him a giant and unexpected hug, laughing as I pulled away from the hug.

Mitchell put the back of his hand against my forehead to check if I had a fever. His face was very perplexed.

The teacher then started talking, "Alright class, now today we are..." but I tuned out what she was saying.

I positioned myself to face Mitchell and I started telling him everything. When I was done, he had a frown on his face.

"Bee," he started, "Will is the most popular guy in school. Don't let him play you, and please don't make any stupid descions."

I shook my head, placing a hand on his shoulder, "You don't have to worry about me, Straub. I can take care of myself. Plus I've been waiting all year for this to happen! It's a miracle."

Before I knew it, the bell had rang, releasing us to finally go home.
