Crafty was the first to wake up. She wouldn't normally do that, but she was in a creepy forest. She wanted to make sure nothing happened. And put her stuff animal away before someone saw it.
She stuffed the animal in her mane, and laid there until the others woke.
The others woke up at the same time, which was strange to Crafty.
"How long have you been up?" X asked spotting her.
"2 minutes." She said rubbing her tail.
"Well, let's go then." Ikaros said waking up Dans all the way.
Crafty and Dans were heavy sleepers. Except when Crafty was in danger, then she would be up before the roosters even croaked.
"..." Dans didn't answer.
Ikaros poked him in the eye. Dans wouldn't answer still. He was a very lazy pony.
Ikaros thought for a moment of ways to wake him up. Something snapped in her head.
"Hey Dans~" She said .
That only got a raised ear from him.
"I brought some panda bears..."
Dans shot up scary Hari fully awake. Dans loved chocolate panda bear pretzels. He would do anything to get them.
"OKAY! Where are they?" He said wondering around the sleeping area.
"Oh, I lied!" She exclaimed.
X was getting annoyed. He wanted to get home. He walked over to Crafty, and helped her on his back.
"Come on guys." Crafty growled as X started walking.
Ikaros dragged Dans by the tail, following X. Hari stayed at X's side, making sure Crafty was steady.
Yet, it was an argument, who was the leader. Yet Crafty was the youngest, she was a great leader. X believes he's the leader, but it's actually Crafty. They just let him believe that.
"Okay,okay, I'll walk!" Dans yelled cutting his hoof on a fallen stick.
"Bthat's Bhat byou get..." She said still holding his tail in her teeth.
She let it go and watched him get up, trotting forward. She smirked.
She gave him a "raspberry", and trotted along.
"Just because I can't see or walk that does mean I can't tell its you Ikaros." Crafty said sneezing.
"Great, now your catching a cold." Hari said.
They walked through more trees, it was a never ending forest.
X thought for a moment.
"How about you sing Crafty," he asked her," too lift spirits?"
Crafty looked at him worried.
"Your kidding?" She said with a worried expression.
"How about YOU sing X?" Ikaros said making a kissy face.
"I'll like to see this..." Hari and Dans whispered.
X turned and glared at them, Crafty almost falling off his back. X smirked.
"Maybe I will." He snarled.
All of them looked shocked. Their movement stopped, and it seemed like the world stopped to say "WHAT?!".
X turned and started to walk again. The others followed. X cleared his throat. Crafty stared at him trying not to laugh.
"What's a song I could sing?" He asked thinking of his own songs.
They all thought for a second. What song could he sing?
"I got one!" Crafty called out.
"What?" X asked.
She leaned over and whispered in his ear. X flattened his ear resentfully.
"Come on! You said you would sing something, so there you go."
"Fine..." X said walking again, as the others followed.
The others waited for X to sing the mystery song.
"Do the D.A.N.C.E. 1 2 3 4 5. Stick to the B.E.A.T. Get ready to ignite. You been such a P.Y.T, catching all the lights. Just easy as A.B.C, that's how you make it right."
The others held in their laughs. They knew X had hated that song for as long as they could remember. X has to hold in his own laughs.
"HAPPY?!" He said keeping in the laughs.
Dans, Ikaros and Hari fell to the dirt ground laughing. They couldn't help it. It was pretty funny.
"Come on guys!,"Crafty said giggling." Be nice!"
X started laughing too. Even if they weren't safe at home, they were still having fun together. And that's all that mattered.
X started to walk again, which was the others signal to follow along.
The started to sing the song together, while dancing.
Dans flew to the air, and pretended to walk on air, which got a laugh from Hari.
"Really funny Dans!" Hari said sarcastically.
As the two laughed and sung, they noticed Ikaros and X stopped walking. Crafty's ears were on alert.
"What happened?" Hari whispered crouching down.
X flattened his ears and sighed.
"Nothing, false alarm." He mumbled.
The crew continued to walk in silence.
The trees became a few, but it got much darker. Dans looked up, and a raindrop fell on his snout. Not only was it nighttime, but it was also raining.
"Let's rest under those trees." Crafty pointed
X ran over to the trees, as Ikaros, Dans and Hari followed.
Hari helped Crafty off her back.
"Night guys." He said taking off his scarf.
The others fell asleep directly, except X, who didn't want to sleep, because he was scared for another nightmare.
He sat and watched the others sleep, but then heard some rustling where Crafty was sleeping. Crafty woke up and touched her mane. A small stuffed toy fell from it. She hugged close, and dozed back to sleep.
X smiled and closed his eyes, knowing that he had nothing to worry about.
Well, HE didn't.
