Chapter 16

Jess pov

"Hey Harry!" I say excited. "Hey Jessica!" He says in a high squeaky voice. I laugh at him. "so where to first?" he ask. "how bout bed bath and beyond?" I ask. "anything for my little sister." He smiles. "hey okay by a minute by a freakin minute you are older than me styles." I laugh as I rub my hand in his hair. "Is Lou getting any better?" he asks. "I'm not sure he's not himself like he use to be but he's laughed once or twice." I sigh "well, it's a start aye" he smiles.

*3.5 hours later*

"Finally!" Harry says as we walk out the door. I laugh we were in there for a while. we got a white bed spread, white lace drapes for the window, turquoise paint for the room and a lot of decor. we get in the car and I think it's the right time.

"Harry... I'm a mom." I say on the way back home. he starts to laugh. "nice one Jess." I just stare at him 'I'm not joking." his face drops. "why are you telling me this now?" he asked, his knuckles are clenched on the steering wheel and they are white. "because he's coming soon in two days." I pause for a second thinking if I should tell him dads coming. him and dad never got along. "with dad." I say quickly. "Jess why? how come? you said you wanted to wait after you got married to have kids." he sighed. "I know it wasn't my decision. I was raped about a year ago." I sigh "who else have you told?" He asked. "just Niall I'm worried if I bring Cole here louis will hurt him." I say closing my eyes. "Jess one thing I know that Louis hasn't change is his love for kids just wait maybe Cole will help." Harry says and grabs my hand.

Louis pov

*ring* *ring*

Ugh god can't a man sleep? I walk down stairs to answer the phone.

"Hello, who is this?" I ask.

"This is Jess dad may I Speak to her?"

"She's not here at the moment may a take a message for her?" I say as politely as I can. cause the last thing I need is an angry dad after me again.

"Um yea, tell her Cole is coming up tomorrow and I'm not able to make it."

"Can I ask who Cole is?" I ask kind of worried what If its her ex or her boyfriend how would I tell Niall?!?!

"It's her son I though you would have already known."

"No sir, how old is he?" I ask really worried I didn't really expect her to be that kind of girl.

"He's almost 11 months."

"Oh ok." I say filling up with anger. How could she do this to me?!?! was she going to even freakin tell me?

"Thank you and tell her I said hi." and with that he hung up.

I can't even believe her! why couldn't she have told me I'm mean I wouldn't have judged her. I wonder if Harry knows? oh my god Niall I wonder what the look in his face would be like.

I hear the door open and close.

"Louis were home! Harry's with me." I here Jess yell. "we need help bringing in the stuff, can you please go get some?" Jess says and tells Harry where her room is. " I will go out with you." she says. "Ok" she says and shrugs her shoulders. We walk out in silence until she breaks it "what did you do while I was gone?" she asked as she grabbed what seemed like a bedspread set. "um noting really other than I talked to your dad. he told me that he couldn't come down with Cole tomorrow." I say her face turned pale. "how come you haven't told me?' I ask feeling hurt. "I-I was going to tell you tonight I promise." Jess said looking down. "did you think I would judge you because of having a kid?" I asked. "yea kind of but it's not like I wanted to have you know what." she said making a face at the end. it's funny how she does want to say the word. "than why?" I asked. "because... because I was raped.'' she said. "oh I'm sorry I- you didn't have to tell me." I said. "Its fine." she shrugs and walks inside I walk after her with the paint. "You know I have a baby room in here for when ever El and I would babysit Lux if you wanna use that as his room. It was also for when El babysitter for a couple of her friends so their are boy toys in there to." I say. Jess set her stuff down and hugged me. she smells so good.

6 hours later-

We had finally finished and its about 12. And her room was beautiful. "hey guys I have to get up at 8 to go pick up Cole his flight comes in at 9:30 with dad. So I'm going to go ahead and go to bed." she said stretching. "Jess I told you your dads not coming." I said a little confused "what then how is Cole going to get here safely he's not even 12 months." she says "just go to bed and you and Lou will figure something out in the morning I have to go meet up with Ed in the morning or I would have gone with you." Harry says. "bye sis." he hugs her. and goes to me "be good to her and Cole." he whispers in my ear and hugs me. I nod my head. Jess went up the stairs as Harry leaves. "Lou my room smells like paint can I sleep with you tonight." She asked shyly. "yea sure." I head up to my room and take off my shirt and get into my bed with Jess. "goodnight love." I say to her. "night Lou." she says before she falls asleep.
