I parked on a street close to the school, since my high-school didn't have student parking - which was pretty lame. I stepped out of the car, swinging my bag onto my shoulder.
"You guys ready?" Zama asked, shutting the door which was followed by two other doors closing.
"For school? Not really. For sports? Of course. For your pranks? I couldn't think of a better senior year." Dakota said cheerfully.
"You bet my pranks are going to be out of this world." She laughed, high-fiving Dakota.
"We should get going, I don't want Mr. Zed to freak out on me the first day."
"That I can get behind, we should get going."
"I'm just going to pray it doesn't storm today." Dakota spoke, walking alongside Zama.
"Now Zama, that smile tells me you've planted a prank." I said, walking behind them and beside Tiarna.
"Now Renee, what first day would it be if I didn't play a little harmless prank on the pops?" She grinned. They were walking into the school, hoping to finish their last year at a steady rate.
"How long before you think Vivian is going to come running up and slap you?"
"Five minutes, as long as her routine is the same."
"What did you-"
"Zama!" Vivian yelled, slamming the girls washroom doors open, scaring a few freshman and sophomores. Zama stood there, snickering as white-faced Vivian came stomping towards her.
"Putting baby powder in the hair dryers? Seriously, Zama!?" Vivian yelled, slapping the girl on the shoulder with all her might. Zama just couldn't stop laughing. "Stop laughing!"
"Y-your face! You're even whiter than, than before!" She said, holding onto Tiarna as support.
"You're a dick, you know that?"
"The beauties of a beauty club. I can't believe you didn't see that coming!" Zama responded, holding onto her stomach.
"I hate you."
"Then why don't you leave, hm?"
"What a good idea, better than any other ones you've thought of before."
"I think last year's toilet paper prank was the best one."
"You got suspended the first day!"
"I still have higher grades than you, so what does that tell you?"
"Whatever, I'm going now. Zama, do me the favour and leave me OUT of your pranks." Vivian finished finally and walked away. She was so exhasuting and only ever complained. Zama and her used to be really good friends before we all came to high school and she started hanging out with us. Before that, Zama was probably the biggest bitch I've ever met. But hey, I can be one as well so I guess that might have been why we started to connect.
"She's such a drama queen." Dakota said, rolling her eyes and walking towards the stairs. "My locker is upstairs this year, so I'll see you guys later."
"Mine is too, wait up!" Zama shouted, trying to catch up with our friend. They waved goodbye at Tiarna and I. We as well walked towards the stairs, but went down instead.
"Did we get partnered again?"
"You best your ass we did, there's no way- shit." Tiarna said, stopping dead in her tracks. She was looking directly at one kid, clearly a freshman. Their locker was open and a mirror was hanging on the door, facing directly at the almost-hyperventalating Tiarna. I quickly walked up to the student and grabbed the mirror, putting it in the top section of their locker.
