Realization seemed to hit them all at once. If this potion really worked then they to would lose their powers with me.

"How." Davids questioned his green eyes obviously holding doubt.

We have never tried to escape before, but that was because all of our plans had sucked.

"We just need to come up with a better plan." I encouraged. Trying to sound like I believed in what I was saying.

"Ally, we have tried coming up with better plans. They all have too many flaws." Ginny countered.

Ralph nodded his head in agreement. "It's hopeless Ally."

"I AM NOT LEAVING YOU HERE TO END UP LIKE ME." I yelled frustrated.

Ralph held up his hands "Wait Ally don't jump to conclusions we don't know if they stopped your powers yet."

I shook my head. I knew. I had always known. "I can feel it." I whispered not looking at them. "I lost them." I had to hold back the tears that threatened to spill over.

Ginny came over and hugged me whispering comforting words. I tried to focus on them but the sadness was overwhelming. I felt my heart start to beat to fast and my fear and anxiety took over. I felt more arms go around me, but I couldn't hear what they were saying. I pictured my friends hooked up the machines that drained there blood and left only enough for the hearts to keep beating. My vision was doing spotty and my head was spinning.

"Ally!" I heard a strong but concerned voice cut through all my panic. "Ally breath, you need to breathe."  I turned my head towards the voice and I could make out David's face so close to mine. "Breathe." he commanded.

I felt my lungs expand as I took my first real breath in I don't know how long. Instantly I felt my panic start to fade and I spent the next 10 or so minuets trying to pull myself together.

"I can't let them do this to you as well." I choked out.

They all shared a concerned look. Than David nodded. "We can try and get out."

I wiped at my eyes. "I will save you. I promise"

"We will save each other." David said stone face. The worry that had been there just a second ago completely gone.

"Than let's get to work!" Ralph exclaimed and his excitement seem to cut through the seriousness of everything going on.

They all looked at me expectantly. They thought I already had an idea as to how to escape. I looked down racking my brain trying to come up with something quick.

Whenever an idea came to me I would find a flaw in the plan too big to ignore. I felt the pressure of there eyes start to get to me and a sweat broke out along my forehead.

The silenced stretched on longer and longer until finally I asked.

"I don't suppose any of you have gotten your powers yet?"

David laughed. "I got my powers yesterday! I can shoot ice out of my hands!"

I ignored his sarcasm. "It was a valid question."
