Chapter 11 - The Show Must Go On

I watched over Lorin as he lay on the couch, where we moved him. The process will take time, but soon he will wake up. Very soon, though, we will need to finish the process so he can fully awaken. Once he does that, everything will start.
I don't want it to begin, honestly. I don't want a lot of things to happen, but they need to. It's just how the world goes. Trust me, I've been around since the beginning of creation. I think that Lorin will lead Hell to success. I know he will, not because of the prophecy, but because of his character.
He's very loving, and open. Of course, he is very shy, but after you get around that barrier, he becomes sarcastic, funny, and just very lovable. He's not afraid to tell you like it is, even if it scares him. He doesn't always stand up for himself, but he always stands up for others, taking their beating if need be. All in all, he's heroic. And that's what we need. That's what the world needs. He will make an excellent demon. He would be amazing helping those who need his help, and teaching those who need to be taught.
Though it's not going to be easy. It may be bloody, there may be a lot of death. But that's how it is. Life, I mean. Ruthless, bloody, murderous. The Angels are large in number, but lack in strength. That's because they gain their strength from Christians. The Angels have fooled mankind into worshiping a fake God, so that they lose touch with the natural magic residing in them. Angels took on human forms, when the world was formed. They convinced people that there was a god, and that he was their savior. Technically speaking, Jesus did exist. But he wasn't the god everybody thought him to be. He was simply a man. There was nothing special about him.
It's just like how rumors spread in school. A simple mistake can be blown out of proportion. That is how the Angels turned Jesus into a 'God'. They thought that that was the perfect opportunity to take away power from us, and they were right. That is when we were bound, and thrown to the side for the false prophet.
Humans have had natural magic in them since the beginning of time. They practiced in the open, without a care. People came to more talented 'witches' and sought their power to help them in their life, whether it be for conception, wealth, or destruction. Most recently, these people were labeled Pagans. Pagans are mostly earth worshipers, but they have their set of gods. Their gods, funny enough, are demons of Hell. The demons have been around since Earth was created. They've been given many names over the years, all over the world and through different cultures and religions.
Then the Christians came along, more specifically, the Catholics. These people are liars, thief's, and cheaters.
The Angels take advantage of this. They use humanities stupidity to their own advantage. When someone dies, their energy, I guess you could say soul, reaches the astral plane. The angels trick the soul into going with them, where they harvest it for it's pure power. If, say, a Satanist died, a Demon would come and escort their soul on the left hand path, and into Hell, which would be considered the Christian "heaven".
Hell, hell is such a magnificent place. There is literally no place like it, in any of the worlds. It's not fiery hot, there are no screaming souls. It is peaceful, content. Not how people picture Heaven, per say, but close. There are colours everywhere, red, blue, black and many more.
Though, one rumor people got right is that there are HellHounds, but their true names are Abyssys Cane. They are not vicious to those who are dedicated. Quite the opposite, actually. They make great companions and they love to snuggle, just like any other dog. Size, on the other hand, can be intimidating. As a puppy, they are relatively small. But, they grow at alarming speed, some growing to at least seven foot tall. The average is at least five feet, though. They are very good at protecting, and are great familiars.
