Ever since the parabatai bond broke, Jace felt a strange and foreign feeling. He felt lonely, open and vulnerable. When Alec was still his parabatai , he felt Alec was protecting him and allowing him to feel safe. Alec was always there whenever he needed it, be it physically or mentally.

"What are we going to do now, Jace?" Izzy asked , looking up from her hands and leaving her red puffy eyes shown.His heart ached seeing his strong sister look so vulnerable.

Now he knows that all these years when their parents were in Idris , it was Alec that had kept them safe.Without Alec now, they are left vulnerable without the protection of their shy brother. Now have they realized that all these years they had taken Alec for granted. They had never taken Alec's words seriously, and always either ignore his words or do the exact opposite of what he says.

Even though he still hates Magnus for breaking Alec's heart, but he have to say Magnus was much more wise for taking interest in Alec instead of Izzy or himself. Alec was the best warrior in the whole lightwood family.

That was when he realized.

"Magnus! We have to tell him about Alec!"Jace shouted to Izzy.(Not directed at Izzy )

"We can't.Can't you see how much pain Magnus had gone through these few weeks just trying and failing to forget about Alec?"Izzy replied softly,shaking her head.

"He dumped Alec! He made Alec suffer so much these few weeks! Can't you see how bad Alec is coping these few weeks!Alec joined Silent Brotherhood because of him!"

"But he stills Alec. He has been suffering because of Alec. Jace, we have no right to tell him. We must show him."

Jace nodded.

Still third Person:

"Izzy !Hang in there!!!"Jace shout as he carried his sister and rushing back to the Institute.

Simon was right behind him with Clary.

When he reached the Infirmary, he quickly call Clary to summon the Silent Brothers.Actually summon Brother Jophiel.

After Clary was gone, he called Simon to go to Magnus's place.

Simon was shocked and confused."Why must I go to Magnus's. Isn't the Silent Brothers coming?"

"Just go , Vampire!"

Simon muttered something to himself before running toward Magnus's home at vampire speed.

Izzy gave Jace a bloody smile."Y-you are l.learning Ja....ce"

"Shh... Just hang in there.Save your streng, don't talk?"Jace whispered back as he ran his hand through his sister's inky dark hair.
