Chapter 6

"Tiny House and Tiny Girls each have on vote. Ready? Perform has 2 votes. And Mimamo and Tiny School each have 3 votes. So you are going to vote again, you only have the choice between Mimamo and Tiny School." The PD explained. We had to vote again and of course I voted for Mimamo again.

"So the result is the following, 4 votes for Mimamo and 6 for Tiny School. Congratulations!!" The staff applauded. "Know that you have a programm name, we are going to show you your first mission." The PD gave us a piece of paper of which was written in capitals "MISSION 1". And under it "GROUP PERFORMANCE".

"For this challenge you are going to have to perform on song all together. Rap, dance and vocal must be included in the performance. You are going to perform infront of judges in 3 days, they are going to comment and judge your capabilities. Your performance will be on air live, and the audience is going to vote who did best from 1st place to last place. Did you all understand ?"

"YES!" We answered happily and started right away talking together on what song would be the best.

"What do you think of IU's Glasses? We could arrange it to fit some rap in it." Sooyi suggested.

"Yeah but there is no part where we could have a really powerful dance..." Jiho added.

"Well then why not use EXO's El Dorado? I just love that song!" Sanhee exlaimed.

"I don't think there is enough rap, we have 3 members that can rap, it would be good if all of them could rap." Hana explained. "We could use 4minute's Hate though. I think the balance vocal-rap is quite similar to our balance singer-rapper. And for the dance, the song has a good beat to do so. We should still arrange some parts to make it more appropriate to our uses."

"I agree with you that songs seems really fitting." Seora voiced out her opinion. "We should listen to it a few times to know how we should cut the parts."

We did how she said and listened to the songs atleast 5 times. "I think those who have the most weak vocals should take that one part before the chorus, our rappers won't have problems to agree on how to do their parts. The other vocals should take a bit more time to agree and our dancers once they have their parts can start to make up a choreography." Ahjin give us directions and we executed ourselves. I couldn't help but think that she should have done things like this pretty often seeing how she knew exactly the best way to get ready.

"Does it bother you to have the pre-chorus part Shinah?"

"Ah no no, I'm not a vocal after all." I reassured Miyoung.

"Great than you can start to come up with the dance right?"

"Of course. But does it bother if I put the song on repeat ?"

"I don't think it would bother the others, just do what you need to in order to come up with the dance."

I went to the side of the room where nobody was standing and started doing some moves until I found something that liked. After some while Jaeri, Sanhee, Jiho and Seora came up to me and asked me until where did I work. I showed them what I found and we started working all together.

"What do you think of this?" Jiho was doing the squid dance while laughing at herself. I joined her at doing the squid. We didn't last long though, we bursted out laughing even harder. My legs gave away and I fell on the floor, which didn't stop me from laughing. This dance really looked ridiculous. Too much to handle.

"Stop it we have to work." Sanhee said wipping away her tears.

We we continued working until the others came.

"How far did you get?" Joha asked.

"We only have the last chorus left, so in about 10 min we should be ready to show you." I explained.

"Can we see it?"

"Sure." We proudly showed what we prepared.

"What about it if we start with this for the last chorus?" Joha showed us what she was thiking of. Our members are really good at everything I thought. With everyone working on it we finished really quickly. We then taught the others the dance.

"This is my part here, I don't think I need to be in the middle but maybe more to the side? I don't really know." Hana exclaimed.

"That's a good idea, what about here. Hm if you do that before your part you'll automatically end up to the side what do you think of it?" Jiho showed her.

"Ah yeah that looks good. Thank you"

We went on with our practice. "How about we try to sing our parts now while dancing?" Ahjin suggested. "We have mikes here." She gave one to each of us, and we started our practice all over again.

"Girls what are you still doing here?" the dance teacher exclaimed. We looked at her startled. "Don't you look at the clocks sometimes? It's past midnight, you should go back to you dorms."

"Can we show you first our dance before we go?" I asked, since the others seemed to scared to speak back to her. Well of course she looks scary and when we practice all together she is really stirct and only rarely smiles or give compliments. But I see her differently since I got to practice with her alone and she was really nice during that time. I believe she really is nice and is only strict so that we learn quicker and work harder. So I'm not scared of her.

"I'd be glad to see it." She went to stand with her back to the mirror. "Oh you're already ready to sing at the same time." She looked at the mikes we where holding with a surprised expression.

We all did our best to show her what we prepared. At the suprises of everyone she clapped at the end. "Good job, you worked hard. Go to bed know." She said smiling a bit and walking out of the room. We hurried and packed our things and went to the dorm.

"Who's going to wake up last tomorrow?" Jaeri asked while entering the dorm.

At that, all of us ran to stand in a round, we went on our knees at the same time we started mooing. The same way cows do, we mooed looking in each others eyes. That's our way to choose an order for something. The first that laugh looses, or in this case will be the first to wake up. And this time it was Miyoung that started laughing. She wlked out of the round and we narrowed the round. We went on like this until it was a one on one competition between Joha and Sanhee.

--- The day of the group performance ---

I woke up early and to my suprise, I wasn't the only one. All of us were getting ready and hurried to our practice room. We had some spare time before the judges would come. We decided to practice one last time. As we finished the door opened.

I couldn't believe my eyes. Did they really ask these people to be our judges. I rubbed my eyes and heard Joha squeal. I could understand how she felt, it's not every day one of your idols walks through the door. They went to sit on the chairs that were in front of the mirror.
