(Scene: The beautiful outside forest with a road in the middle of it and The Highway Man is lying in wait for his next victim)
(On stage: Narrator and Highway man)
Narrator: On a beautiful summer’s day, The Highway Man comes out to play!
The Highway Man: I rob people because I admit I’m bored, doesn’t make it right, not at all, but come on; I’m not a bad man! Just down on my luck! I need to eat and begging got me nothing so I had to improvise! I needed cash, I found this gun. Made a mask, there we go, highway man! It’s not a very good job and I don’t recommend it, I just hope someone’s nice enough to help me out!
(Enter Prince Charming)
Prince Charming: Stupid Bella! WHY MUST I CONSIDER MARRYING HER!
The Highway Man: STOP! STOP RIGHT THERE!
Prince Charming: I’m really not in the mood!
The Highway Man: I doubt anyone’s in the mood to lose their gold!
(Prince Charming hands him a few gold coins)
Prince Charming: Take it! I’ve had enough! I hate being me!
The Highway Man: Oh come on! It beats being out here with no home and only the trees for shelter.
(Prince Charming sighs)
Prince Charming: I just want to be… you know… normal. Average
The Highway Man: Yes…. WAIT! AREN’T I SUPPOSE TO ROB YOU?!
(Prince Charming sighs)
Prince Charming: Take my money, I don’t want it anymore!
(He hands The Highway Man 20 pieces of gold)
The Highway Man: Ok, fine, I’ll make you a deal; I won’t rob you of your gold… for a week.
(He shakes Prince Charming’s hand)
Prince Charming: You have a deal!
(Enter Tom)
Tom: There you are! Your father needs you home! Now!
(Exit Tom)
(Prince Charming sighs)
Prince Charming: Bye Mr High Way Man.
(Exit Prince Charming)
(Music Starts Playing – Song ‘Who is he’)
The Highway Man: It’s like he’s turned my world upside-down I don’t know anything anymore. I feel so guilty for taking this man’s coins, but why?! Why must I?! I’m only trying to make ends meet! WHY?! WHY THIS MAN! WHY DOES HE MAKE ME FEEL GUILTY WHILE OTHERS MAKE ME FEEL GOOD! WHY?!
