Hyungwon
"Everybody, let's start the game." I told my groupmates.
I've thought them everything they needed to know well and we discussed about this in class.
"Daeum-ah, you pitch." I called her.
"Ne? Uh... arasseo." She said and went to her position.
I went to my position too because I was ready to bat first for my groupmates. I took the bat and held it well positioning my self in a stable way.
"Go." I signalled to her.
She gave me a nod and threw the ball.
I swung my arms but I didn't hit it.
"Strike 1. Ya, pitch well Daeum. That ball was too low." I said.
"Ne. Mianhae." She said and got ready to try again.
She breathed and pitch again. I swung once again but I still didn't hit it. I was getting quite irritated.
"Focus the ball well to me." I nagged to her annoyed.
She didn't give any response but she just caught the ball and prepared herself again.
"Im going!" She told me.
She pitched the ball.
Wait. No!
I got alarmed as I saw the ball fly towards me.
.
.
."Agh!" I slowly backed off as the ball hit me in the face.
I was in pain.
"Omo! Chae Hyungwon!" Our other groupmates quickly came to rush beside me.
They were all surprised that I got hit and I could see their worried faces especially my hyungs.
"Eotteokhae, the side of your lip is bleeding." Wonho hyung told me.
I touched my lips and saw some blood on my fingers.
"Shit." I murmured.
I looked around me and saw a guilty Daeum.
"Eotteokhae... Joesongeyo, Hyungwon-ah! I really didn't mean to! I'm so sorry..." She said.
I accepted her apology so things wouldn't get worse between us. I'll understand her.
"Seonsaengnim! Hyungwon needs to go to the clinic. His lip is bleeding." Sara asked permission for me.
"Keurae. Go Hyungwon-ah." My teacher told me.
I turned to my groupmates.
"Go, continue playing. Dont stop okay?" I said and went to head off to get treated.
Daeum
Eotteokhae? I tried to pitch as well as I can but it resulted to an accident.
I hit Hyungwon instead.
And he was bleeding.
I rushed beside him as our other members did too. I felt very guilty and afraid of what I had just done. He was still in a daze but when he caught up with what just happened he looked around and his eyes met mine.
"Eotteokhae... Joesongeyo, Hyungwon-ah! I really didn't mean to! I'm so sorry..." I said.
He didn't say anything but he shot me a look that I just couldn't understand. What now?
The teacher came and sent Hyungwon off to the clinic leaving us behind. I could see the ugly glares of my groupmates on me. I must have been disappointing in today's class.
