Daeum

Our outreach ended that day and eversince that time, I've started to see Hyungwon more attached to kids now. It's good to see him like that.

Today, I'm walking around the building to my office after I just bought my food outside. Suddenly, my phone rang.

"Hello?"

"Daeum-ah. It's me Minhyukie."

"What.. do you.. need?"

"Nothing.. I just called because I felt the urge to check on you hehe.."

"Oh... umm I--"

"Please come over and eat lunch with me in my place." Minhyuk said quickly.

"Minhyuk-ah but I'm already gonna have my lunch here soon."

"Ditch that, come over I have a feast prepared. Im not taking no for an answer."

"Hey!"

"Bye, see you!"

He suddenly hung up on me. I checked the time and saw that I had 1 hour free. Maybe I could drop by Minhyuk's house then, I didn't want to stand him by if he really did prepare alot.

I took a taxi and rode the way to his house. As soon as I got there, I walked my way to his place. I rang the doorbell twice and he opened up.

"Why do you have a new house? What happened to the old dorm you were staying at?" I asked as I went in.

Drastic change, his house was really beautiful inside now apart from the old dorm he was staying at.

"Now that I take part in our company, my dad gave me the privilege of a better house. Its all mine." He smiled.

"Ohh.... A part of me is happy you left that dorm. I mean... I had bad.... bad experiences there umm.. with you." I remembered.

He looked at me, sorry for that memory.

"Uh.. come let's eat." He motioned.

Minhyuk and I finished eating together within minutes and it was actually quite an awkward meal to be honest. I tried to bear it though because I kept feeling like he wanted to tell me something.

"Jamkkan." Minhyuk said.

I looked at him go to a room in his house. I was curious and he was actually kinda taking his time so I followed him around.

The door was half open so I slowly got in. He felt my presence and slightly looked behind him without turning much.

"What is this room?" I asked.

"Wine room. Where I have stored samples of wine from our company." He answered me while rushing to get a wine glass after finally making a choice.

I made my way closer to him and stared at what he was holding.

"Is that your favorite wine?" I asked.

"Hmm.. not sure." He thought.

"But I do want to taste this wine right now." He added.

He opened the lid and poured some wine, shook the glass slowly around, examined it briefly and made a taste.

"Well, that was refreshing." He breathed.

"Oh..."

He looked at me again.

"Do you want to try some?" He reached out the glass to me.
