"Now don't be nervous Miss Mariya, I'll be holding both your hands in the process of this. I will repeat again for your reassurance, you will not fall," Doctor Troist said taking my hands and helping me to a bar.

Doctor Troist had put new supports on my legs and a belt around my waist that would help me move, or well, go through therapy smoothly.

Taking a deep breathe I let him pull me up and lean me against the bar so I could hold onto it with one hand while he held my right hand.

I looked over at Kito who was silently cheering me on from a chair at the back of the room. I looked back to the bar in front of me and slid my hip forward which caused my foot to slide.

"There you go Mariya. See? You can do anything if you put your mind to it!" Doctor Troist smiled and helped me down the rest of the bar before setting me back into my wheelchair.

"I'm sure that in a few months you should be able to move more on your own. I hope to get you on supportive crutches soon," he said writing down a few notes on his clipboard.

"I will also be taking you off of your medications, except for the pain reliever and the anxiety medication. You should be able to leave the ward very soon actually. If all goes well in the next week you will be able to return to school next month," Doctor Troist said cheerfully as I chewed on my fingernails.

"You shouldn't worry Mariya," Kito said setting his hands on my shoulders and kissing my cheek. "I'm sure it'll all go well, plus I'll be there to help you this time!" He smiled.

I looked at him confused for a second before he changed the subject to lunch and Ellie took my wheelchair and pushed me back to my room.

"So what would you like for lunch today Miss Mariya?" Ellie asked cheerfully as, with her help, got into bed with my legs over the side.

"Mac n' cheese would be lovely right now," I said looking at a photo on my phone of painted nails. "Ellie?" I asked looking up at her before she left my room.

"Yes my princess?" She giggled.

"Will you paint my nails later?"

"Of course my lady, I shall dress you for your date with your prince as well," she said closing the door behind her.

I sighed contently and fell back on my bed and smiled. "It's a miracle. . ."

"Lift your arms up Miss Mariya so I can slip the dress over your head," Ellie said lifting the big puffy skirted dress over my head.

I giggled in delight at being pampered like a princess for a dinner with my prince. Ellie did a button on the back of the dress and slid tall decorative socks onto my legs and a pair of black mary-janes afterwards.

"Ah! Miss Mariya, you look so lovely!" Ellie gushed at me. Taking one of the pigtails she started to curl it carefully, making sure not to burn my delicate hair off.

"Thank you Ellie, I look so wonderful!" I smiled, a real smile for once. Ellie took my hands and helped me stand with my leg supports hidden underneath the dress.

A few steps at a time I was walking down the hospital hallway like Forrest Gump, wobbly and clumsy like. I eventually, with Ellie's help of course, made it down the elevator and to a car that was waiting for us.

Beaming happily stood Kito in a classic black tuxedo and a silly looking top hat on his head. His shiny black shoes, and perfectly white made my hair look dingy like.

Taking my hand he kissed it gently and helped me into the back seat of the car saying, "my lady," to me softly. I blushed at him from ear to ear, one hundred percent sure that I must of looked like a tomato even if I didn't have any blush on.

"So, Prince Kito, where are we going?"

"A dinner made for a King and Queen of course!" He exclaimed trying to get a laugh from me.

I giggled and put a gloved hand over my mouth, "Well, I'm delighted to be going with such a handsome man like you. So guile and friendly," I said trying to sound formal.

He laughed and dropped our charade. "We were supposed to have a horse and carriage, but they didn't have any available tonight."

"Awe, that's okay," I laughed at him for his cheesiness. The car came to a stop and Kito looked out the darkly tinted windows.

"I believe that we have arrived at our destination my princess," he said in a silly accent while taking my hands and helping me down out of the car. With a firm grip on my hand he guided me into a castle themed restaurant and I was relieved when I saw everyone else was dressed up like royalty too.

"This is so wonderful Kito, I don't think I've been to a place so nice. . .," I said in awe with my mouth open, wide in amazement.

Kito held onto my hand still, as he told the waitress our parties name. "Ramano, table for two, I made reservations earlier today for the Ballroom," the waitress looked down at a list in front of her, nodded her head, grabbed two menus, and asked us to follow her to our designated table.

Kito pulled my chair out for me and helped me sit down before pushing it back into the table. Walking around to the other side he said down across from me and smiled. I pulled off my gloves put them in my purse and put my coat on the back of the baby blue chair.

Kito looked at me and smiled his famous grin before picking up his glass of water and taking a sip. I followed his actions and leaned forward to clink my glass against his.

"To my princess, and to a great first date," Kito said clinking our glasses together once more before our waitress showed up and asked us what we would like to eat for dinner.

After she left with a swish of her skirt, I smiled back at Kito. "And to the most amazing night ever!" I exclaimed, giggling as Kito laughed slightly with me.
