Chapter 12: Saved

Caitlin clapped her hands once she went to check on the substance that she had made, after she had thought she figured out the formula to the Velocity 6. "I think I've got it!" She said excitedly. Cisco smiled. "I knew you could Cait.." "I'll call Barry, you contact Jay.." She said carefully placing the substance in a couple different viles.

"You have the Velocity 6 ready already?" Jay asked surprised when he received the message from Cisco. He knew it was rare. It was why he asked for the deal in the first place. But he should have known. Caitlin was quite smart. That he was able to pick up with the time he had spent with her. Caitlin raised her eye slightly standing across from him as she was holding the few viles with the liquid in it. "Hand us Henry and you will get the Velocity 6." Caitlin said giving him a hard glare. Jay laughed. "Well I sure underestimated you doctor Snow." He said taking a step closer to her. "If you want Henry. You're going to have to try and catch me..." He went to reach for the viles Caitlin had in his hand, but however, wasn't able to get to them all before Barry had been able to snatch two of the four. Jay however did not notice this. He was too busy being greedy. He opened the viles and took the substance from each one feeling the power of the speed starting to flow through him. "Try and stop me now... Flash.." He took off at a run laughing along the way.

Caitlin turned to Barry and looked wide eyed as she saw what Barry was holding in his hands. "Barry. No.. You.." But Barry stopped her as he began to open the two viles he was able to retrieve from Caitlin before Jay did. "Caitlin. I have to try. This is my son.." She stepped close to Barry. "Barry. This is what was making Jay sick! And it will make you sick too!" Barry sighs looking at her. "I will be fine. I won't be taking much. Just enough to get after Jay and my son back. I need to do this Caitlin..." Caitlin sighs a little watching as Barry takes the two viles of liquid.. "It changed Linda.. When she took it, remember? What if it changes you too? What about.." Barry placed his hand on Caitlin's shoulder. "I'll be fine..." He made his way downstairs to the breech and jumped in towards his destination of earth 2. "Well well. Look who's back.." Barry turned slightly as he heard the familiar voice. "Cait.. I mean Killer Frost.." He muttered. Killer Frost raised her eye slightly as she hears her old name. "I didn't think you would be dumb enough to come back Flash.." She smirked. Barry sighed. "Please. Just take me to my son... You lead us to the cave before..." "Yeeeah. I really can't do that. That was a one time thing. You see. By helping you guys, things didn't really go well for me when you escape the first time.." She smirked circling Barry watching him closely. "Look, I plan on defeating Zoom. And when I do you will be free of him. But in order to do that, I have to get my son back. Please..." Killer Frost let out a laugh. "You. Defeat Zoom? Don't you think many people before you have tried that? And guess where they ended up..."

"The Caitlin I know wasn't like this. She cared about helping people. What would Ronnie..." He stopped mid sentence not sure if that was a good idea bringing him up. He wasn't exactly sure what happened to Ronnie on this earth. If he was still alive here or not. Killer Frost rolled her eyes. "Oh please. Sounds like a pathetic version of me. Being bad is so much more fun.." She smirked. "How do you know what Ronnie..." Barry watched her closely as she stalled mid sentence and seemed to dwell on what he said. She sighed a little.. "You don't know what Zoom is like. He killed Ronnie.. Because he didn't follow directions. And he's going to kill me too.." Barry took a deep breath. "I won't let that happen. I promise. I will defeat Zoom. I'm not leaving until I get my son..." Killer Frost rolled her eyes. "Why are everyone on earth one so whiney. Fine. If it'll get you out of my hair.." She motioned for Barry to follow her. "Follow me before I change my mind..." Barry sighed ignoring her first comment. "Thank you." He muttered.

Once Barry and Killer Frost reached the destination, she once again used her ice powers to build the icey staircase for them to make their way up. Barry quickly made his way up to the cage with Killer Frost following. When Barry reached the top and rushed into the cave, he spotted Henry on the cot, staring into space. "Henry!" The boy jumped thinking it was Jay or the older version of himself who was back. "Dad!" He cried. He quickly rushed over to Barry. Barry knelt down across from his son and wrapped his arms around him giving him a hug. 'You're okay. I'm here and I'm going to get us back." He whispered. He suddenly heard the pounding of something nearby. He quickly turned to see the same masked figure locked in the cell who was there before. He was doing the usual same amounts of tapping. He looked up at Killer Frost still keeping a tight hold on his son. "Who is that?" He asked. Killer Frost shrugged. "I don't know. I don't care. He's been there for awhile. Zoom said when the time was right, he was going to use it as leverage." Barry narrowed his eyes. He was curious, but right now, he needed to get his son out of here. "Come on.. We need to get back.." "Barry. Be careful. Zoom is even stronger than you think, without having your speed.." Killer Frost hesitated a moment. "But he is getting weaker. I think having too much speed is finally breaking him down... I think too much speed is what's his weakness.." She stated. Barry looked at her a bit surprised that she would decide to give him this information. He nodded. "I think I know what to do now.. Thank you Cait. I mean Killer Frost." She grinned a little. "You're a fast learner. I think if anyone can defeat Zoom it'll be you. Let me take you back to the lab. I can get the breech to open so you can get back.

Henry glances up at his dad. "What do you have planned daddy?" Barry glanced down at him and grinned. "You'll see." He took a hold of his son's hand and made his way through the breech
