"Thank you so much sir." I said with a smile on my face as I shook Mr. Brady's hand one final time. "Alright Dan, enjoy the scenery, chat with some names, have fun..this is for you." I smiled then nodded. "I have a plan to catch kid so you enjoy your night." and with that, he walked off. Immediately after him leaving I felt s hand on my shoulder. "This is it Danny-Boy!" I looked over at Ethan who was cheerful with a champagne glass in his hand. "You did it!" I shook my head and blushed. This party for the sneaker line was great. I mean, so many people showed up.

I didn't expect to have this great of a turn out. There was only one thing that was bothering me. Aubrey came, but she's been acting a little anti-social. I don't think she's trying to avoid me or anything because these past few day, I've been staying at the house, have been pretty alright...actually great. I think she's just nervous. Tomorrow was trial day. Ever since her first time in court, putting away Linda, Devin, and Tyler, I wouldn't expect her to ever want to step foot in a court room ever again.

I planned on coming with her. Only for support though because I really had nothing to offer to the case. Plus I don't think this is going to be so bad. Aubrey told me about Mr. Watson's lawyer talking to Vanessa. The prosecution gave her a plea deal for only seventeen years behind bars in place of her entire life if she was to plea guilty. She would be a huge idiot not to take that. Its Evelyn we needed to worry about. I think the case is open and shut, but I guess I shouldn't say that considering I thought Linda was going to plea guilty before getting herself in to more trouble...but of course t didn't go down like that.

I stopped thinking about the case once I saw Aubrey from across the room. She looked great. Her dress was fitted and she straightened her naturally curly hair so that it reached down under her breast. She was sipping on some water and I knew her feet had to be killing her because those heels were about three or four inches. I remember when she was pregnant with Ava. All she complained about was her feet. I'm way too excited to have this baby.

"Go." Ethan said. I looked at him confused. "Go where?" I asked. He rolled his eyes. "Go, go get your girl." I looked at him, then her, then him again. I smiled then walked over to Aubrey. She was still looking down at her feet. I came up in front of her then gave her a kiss on the forehead. She looked up a showed a little smile at me. "You look amazing." I said.

"So do you." she said then sighed while her smile grew wider. She started tracing my tuxedo jacket. "Dan, I'm so proud of you." I blushed. "Proud enough to give me a little kiss?" she smiled then pulled me down to her height. She placed her lips on mine. I kissed back without hesitation. But the both of us pulled away once we felt a bright flashing white light hit us. We looked next to us and saw a camera man. "Just something for the website." he explains then walked off.

I licked my lips then looked back down at Aubrey. God I miss her.
