Her throat had a strange feeling to it as she woke up and brushing a hand against it revealed the familiar line of stitches. Zheth turned her head to the side as she blinked a few more times to see she was locked in a cell, a scowl formed on her face and she stood up to glare back at Poe as he stood outside staring at the ground while General Organa and Han stood on either side of him.
"What have you told them about us?" General Organa's voice had lost all kindness it had once held for her.
Zheth gave her a cold look in return. "Why don't you tell me how long you've known about my family first?"
"You're a spy for the First Order, I could have you killed for it." General Organa responded back.
"Go ahead. Your best pilot couldn't do it... I'd love to see you give it a shot." Irritation flashed through her until a faint red tinted her vision, she forced it away and leaned against the wall. "I told them nothing. The only thing they know is whatever Kylo Ren got from Poe's head, assuming Ren did that little trick with him, and my mind."
"How can we trust you aren't lying?" Poe questioned, his eyes once again betraying the pain he felt as he watched her.
She smirked. "I have no reason to lie, but then again, no reason not to. You'll just have to trust me."
"And say we do?" Poe challenged. "Do you think you'll be allowed out of there?"
"I don't plan on getting out of here. I'll rot in here; you know I don't mind dying... but you won't leave me here for long. You need supplies and I'm just an extra mouth to feed. The Resistance isn't cruel, you'll kill me before letting me starve, so I'm not too worried."
There was silence. It continued to stretch between them for a long time until a static noise sounded from something in General Organa's hand that she currently had behind her back. Upon hearing the sound, she opened the cell door and tossed what Zheth could now identify as her communicator to her. She caught it and gave the older woman a questioning glance.
"Tell them you are fine and everything is going as planned." General Organa ordered.
She sneered back. "Why should I? I die either way."
"Kid's got a point." Han shrugged before seeing his wife's expression. "But I'm sure you'd rather have a quick death than a slow one."
Zheth scoffed but answered the incoming communication. "What's up now Ginger?"
"Predator, you're alive." Was that relief she detected in his voice? "The tracker changed color... you were in danger. Did they figure out what you're doing?"
A smirk came over her face, much to the others' confusion, as they couldn't hear General Hux's words. "Aw, you're worried about me. That's adorable Foxy Freak, I didn't know you had that emotion in you!"
"Did they figure it out?" Hux repeated.
"Of course... not!" She gave a slight laugh. "What do you think I am, an idiot? I haven't survived this long just for a group of rebel scum to figure out I'm spying on them."
"Did you really have to add scum?" Poe muttered under his breath.
"Who is with you?" She was faintly surprised he was able to hear Poe. "Are you compromised?"
"Uh..." Zheth glanced from the three in front of her to the direction the landing bay was in. "No, it just echoes in my current location. Jeez Ginger, any more uptight and those pants you wear are going to follow your underwear up your butt."
