The hall was secluded and Zheth hesitated to follow Hux, who hadn't turned to look at her once. Then he did and she was pushed roughly against the smooth wall with a blaster held under her chin. She quickly knocked it aside and fought to shake him off but felt his grip tighten.
"You didn't think we would find out what you did?" His voice was husky from the loud speech he'd given. "That information was fake!"
"I-I..." She finally found an excuse. "They must've known... I was tricked! I knew stealing it was too easy!"
Her voice growled her false frustration but Hux didn't seem convinced. He did release her however before giving her a look, as if trying to decide what to do with her. "Bounty hunters like you always have their own agenda... I don't like that. It disrupts the order I'm keeping in place around here. You better fall in line or I will make sure you won't exist."
"Do you have OCD?" She questioned. "You seem to like everything in a specific order, I'm just asking, but perhaps that's why everyone infuriates you."
She swore a growling sound came from his throat before he whirled around and stalked off. Zheth turned in the opposite direction and went back outside into the frigid air, she was slightly cold of course, but at least it wasn't currently snowing or anything. A red blast startled her a few seconds later and she jumped to her feet, watching as the beam went off into space. Huh, the Republic was in for a nasty shock. This place was properly named it seemed. She settled back down and leaned on the side of the building as she watched the blast continue its course until nothing was left to see of it, faintly wondering which planets had been targeted... she hoped it wasn't the Resistance's... then she would never get answers.
As the hours ticked by the sky darkened above her. She started shivering, as it got colder before slipping back inside only to run straight into General Hux, which caused her to jump back a bit, and scowl as Phasma made a faint cough that sounded suspiciously like a laugh. Zheth crossed her arms and glared at Hux. "What is it this time?"
"Phasma, go check on Kylo Ren, he should be done trying to extract the information from that scavenger again... I don't want something else expensive destroyed." His voice was as cold as the air outside and didn't speak again until the chrome armored Storm Trooper was gone. "Predator... I thought you would've run off by now. Considering you decided to give us fake information, why are you still here?"
"I told you I was set up, I have no reason to run." She lied smoothly. "Now are you here to arrest me or kill me?"
"Neither, for now." Hux seemed to size her up before walking back outside, casually putting on his greatcoat. "But fail again and I will make sure you die."
"Funny, I think you threatened that earlier." She stated, trying not to shiver again as she followed him.
"So I have." He acknowledged. "I just thought you should get a reminder."
"To waste my time? Thanks." She muttered and turned back inside before being pulled away from the door and spun around to look at him. "What?"
"I wasn't finished yet." Hux growled softly. "I still haven't taught you how to respect my authority instead of ignoring it."
"Because you aren't my superior, why shouldn't I ignore it?" She smirked. "Oh, Ginger, what did I tell you about always being tense? Didn't that little power display earlier help you?"
"As long as you work for the First Order, I am your authority." She could feel his body heat roll off him as he pulled her closer. "Now between Lord Ren's tantrums and your comments, not to mention keeping everything on schedule, I've been needing something to take my own frustrations out on..."
Zheth smirked. "Adorable, you think I'll be your punching bag."
"You won't have a choice." He started dragging her back inside. "Not unless you stay in line."
"You are the stiffest man I've ever met." She muttered. "Seriously, did someone shove a stick up your-"
"Obviously you must enjoy punishments."
"Oh yeah, I love them... the years have made torture next to nothing to me."
Hux's mouth twitched slightly into a smirk. "Just wait until you see what I have in store for you."
"I love that threat." Zheth grinned. "Then again, I enjoy all threats."
"It's a promise." Hux hissed.
"Excellent, Control Freak." She winced in discomfort as he responded to the new nickname by bringing her to her knees, still holding her wrists. "Starting already? Let the fun begin then, shall we?"
Hux paused a moment to glance around before shoving her roughly onto the ground, one hand on her throat while the other kept its tight grip on her wrists. "You forget, even the worst of predators can be broken. And a mutt like you will come to learn to not bite the master who feeds you."
"Or perhaps I'll turn your into an animal too." Her voice rasped slightly under his grip. "You see, they've tried breaking me... to tame me... but it never worked."
Hux leaned closer to her ear, his breath tickling it slightly. "You want to know a secret? Phasma was just as shocked as you probably were when I called you my Monster..."
Her eyes widened and her smirk returned right before she felt his lips crash onto her own, rougher that she would expect from a man like him. Zheth twisted a hand free and curled it into his hair, feeling the pressure on her throat increase for a second before being removed as Hux pulled them both to their feet once more and held her to the wall. A very familiar someone cleared her throat causing Hux to pull back quickly and round on the intruder. Zheth followed his gaze to see Phasma standing there as if she'd known this would happen, well, of course it would. No one could resist her, aggravating as some called it, charm... even as she was killing her victim, which had been required quite a few times in her life.
"General." Phasma stood there calmly as she waited for Hux to regain his composer.
"Yes, Phasma?"
"The scavenger girl has escaped. Kylo Ren is searching for her now as are my troops."
"I want her found!" Hux growled, stepping away from Zheth to stalk past Phasma. "And if you breath a word of what you just saw to anyone... you'll regret it."
Zheth gave a laugh as he walked away before turning to Phasma as she spoke again. "You actually got him to like you? Are you some kind of Jedi too?"
The tone of voice under the robotic disguise was joking and she shrugged. "Nah, I just know how to get people attached... I've had to do that for a few missions in the past so I could get close enough to kill them. Oh, don't worry though! I don't plan on killing General Hux... I'm a bit surprised it worked that fast, though, I do have a knack for hitting people's buttons good or bad."
"If you find the scavenger girl, take her down." Phasma ordered, changing the subject. "Lord Ren went into her mind, she is unneeded now, but make it look like it was necessary just in case he throws a tantrum about it."
Zheth nodded and picked up her helmet to put it on. "Of course. No one can escape me, especially once I start hunting them down."
You've gotta love those Storm Troopers... XD
Sorry the video is in the actual reading portion, I couldn't delete the one that's no longer working :P but I hope you enjoyed this update!
