"I saw my dad." was the words that fell from Zayn's mouth after they both got into his room.

Liam can't talked nor moved. He was surprised. Zayn said he saw his dad at that kebab stand meanwhile years ago he told Liam that his dad was dead.

"I know, I told you he was dead," Zayn started. "B-but in fact he's not. I just like to pretend he's dead. I- shit."

Without Zayn's permission, tears started to rolled down from his cheeks to his chin. The boy started to sob quietly. He didn't make any sound but somehow it made Liam even hurt.

Zayn's small frame trembling and his chest seemed so tight until he felt like he can't inhale any oxygen. It hurt Liam to see Zayn like this.

Liam reached Zayn's shoulder and brought him to his chest, letting him cried his heart out there. Liam wasn't care if his shirt was all wet, all he cared was the boy that he loved so dearly, cried so hard on his chest for some reason he didn't even know.

"Just let it all out,Zee. I'm here, I'm here for you," he stroke Zayn's back soothingly. "You don't need to tell me if you feel like you can't."

Zayn shook his several times, making Liam confused at his action.

"I want to tell you, j-just wait until I calm down a bit." he explained with his still shaking voice.

Liam nodded and patiently waited for him to calm down. Zayn then broke their hug but Liam was still stroking his palm quietly.

"He left my family five years ago, told us he found a better job out of town and will be back next week but he didn't." Zayn spoke, looking down at his black socks. "He even told me that he surely will be back because he'll always there for all of us. He told me that he loved me so he won't ever leave me, but-"

Zayn didn't continue because he was broke down again. Crying even harder now.

"He left." Liam whispered, finishing the sentence. He can't imagine how it felt for Zayn. Someone you loved so dearly, left and never come back and you'll probably won't ever know why.

"That's why I can't stand peoples who said love to me. I just- I can't believe them. In the end, it was all lies. They'll leave me soon enough,"

Zayn's words hit Liam harder than a damn truck. He said that to Zayn several times and has told the boy that he's the love of his life too.

"So after all these times, you didn't believe me at all, Zayn?" Liam said lowly. His chest felt so tight when Zayn shook his head.

"No."
