I wake up in the morning to the sound of loud an a obnoxious beeping, repeating over and over again.

"Ugh!" I groan.

After a few seconds, I become aware of a slight breeze blowing toward me. I open my eyes and notice that not only do I not have any blankets on, but I'm also not even on my own room. I turn my head to see a cocoon of blankets laying on the bed beside me.

I shiver.

"Cory!" I moan in a hoarse morning voice. When he still doesn't stir, I press my feet up against his back and straighten out my knees, sending him off the side of the bed.

"What the--" I see him rise off of the ground, propping himself up on his elbows, before groaning loudly and dropping to the ground again with a thud.

"Did you really just kick me off my own bed?!" He grumbles huskily. His hair frames his face messily, sticking up in all different directions, and his eyes are a darker, more grey-ish shade of blue.

"No. I didn't. This is all a dream, and in this dream, you're going to be late for school." I sit up, recalling why I didn't end up going into my room last night, after our little pie fight fiasco.

By the time we'd both gotten cleaned up and changed, it was about 1:00 in the morning. We'd both decided that there was no point in going to sleep because we'd just have to get up in 6 hours anyway. After fighting over who gets to pick which movie to watch, we settled on watching "The Outsiders" movie for the who-knows-how-manyith time. I guess in the end, we'd both already changed our minds about pulling an all-nighter, and crashed half-way through the movie...

"Are you going to shut that alarm off?" He groans, pulling a pillow off of the bed and putting it on his head, yelling into it. "Oh my god!" The pillow makes the words come out muffled and un-pronounced, but I can still understand all the same.

"Why don't you do it?" I grumble.

"'Cause. You're closer." He says loudly into the pillow.

"Lazy-ass." I mutter, reaching over with my good hand and unlock his phone, pressing dismiss.

I hesitate, before getting to my feet. Just as I'm about to take my first step toward the door, I feel something tighten around my ankle, and pull my leg from underneath me, causing me to fall to the ground.

"Hey!" I yell at Cory, crossing my arms. I notice I've landed in his lap.

"Oh, hey, nice of you to drop by." He smirks.

I stick my tongue out and spit at him with a loud 'thbt'  noise.

"Eeww! Ella, what the hell?" He shoves me off of him, wiping my slobber off of his cheek.

"Must be a full moon." I mumble before running off to my room before he could get his revenge.

45 minutes later, I'm standing outside of his house, leaning against the hood of his car, breathing hot air onto my freezing hands, watching as the air I'd just exhaled deteriorates into nothingness -- Wearing nothing but a pair of white skinny jeans and a camouflage tie-front blouse with a black bandeau underneath, along with a soft cotton sweater I'd high-jacked off of Cory while he wasn't paying attention. I pull the sleeves of the sweater down farther over my hands, blowing down the openings one at a time.

"Are you coming, or not?" I ask, swiping my blended bangs out of my face and tucking them behind my ear.

"Don't get your panties in a twist, I'm coming!" He yells back from the front door, appearing two seconds later, his bag slung lazily over one shoulder.
