I'm not dead.

I sure wish I was though.

But I woke up in the hospital again. But this time when I looked over to the chairs, instead of a doctor filling out paper work, Harry was sitting there looking off into space.

Harry?

What's he doing here?

"Harry?" I asked and his head and eyes snapped to look at me.

"Yeah?" he signed.

"What happened?"

"You almost died again."

"Again." I said like it was no big deal as I rolled my eyes. "How?"

"You drowned in the school toilet."

"Never thought I'd hear that." I said with a blush creeping up on my cheeks from embarrassment.

"Don't be embarrassed Louis. You didn't trip and drowned or something wild like that. You got face dunked by my friends and practically murdered."

"Yeah you're right."

"I know I am."

"You're just like my brother." I said rolling my eyes.

"Who? Niall?"

"Yeah." I nodded. "I mean Earnest is two. He doesn't know how to sass yet."

Harry looked at me blankly.

"I haven't taught him that yet." I said with a shrug. "But he'll learn in time. I'm the sass master." I said and pointed to myself proudly.

I saw Harry's lip twitch like he was about to smile but then stopped himself.

"I'm sure you are Louis." Harry signed and rolled his eyes.

"I am." I said snapping my fingers in a z formation. "I'm gay honey."

Harry froze.

Shit.

Went to far.

"Relax." Harry signed after a minute and after he saw me get frightened to death by letting my inner sparkle shine through. "I won't hit you."

I sighed and relaxed.

Good.

I don't want him hitting on me in the fucking hospital after almost dying, again.

"So why are you here?" I finally asked after a few moments of not awkward silence.

"I walked in on them pretty much murdering you since you weren't moving and you looked limp. Of course they didn't notice or seemed to care, but I got them off of you."

"Why?"

"I had flash backs of the car crash, and of you almost dying then too."

"Oh." I said nodding.

"I've noticed that you have a habit of dying."

"I do don't I?" I laughed.

And Harry smiled small as he nodded.

Wow that's the first time I've ever seen him smile a genuine smile at me or at anybody really.

"I should have a sparkling tomb stone ready for me with my name on it and everything."

Harry actually laughed this time and nodded along.

Wow I love his laugh. It's the contagious kind. The kind that makes you feel good and all happy inside.
