Forever With Your Soul (HideKane)

Prolouge

             The first thing I noticed was his big, round, innocent eyes.  They were a beautiful black, with a slight grey tint to them.  I was entranced, staring back for what felt like forever.

      He didn't notice me at first, so I watched him.  He was quietly playing with a small blue stuffed dinosaur, he seemed to be reading a simple picture book with brightly colored trains on it.  His childish voice hindered him, but he kept strong, stubborn. I immediately admired him for that.

            I lightly tapped on his window, waiting for him to turn towards me.  He glanced in my direction, his eyes lighting up in curiosity.  He immediately came stumbling over to the windowsill, having trouble climbing up onto the shelf in front of it. 

           He held his hand against the glass, staring at me for a few minutes before hesitantly unlocking the latch, struggling to slide the window open.  I chuckled at his frustrated expression, deciding to help him and pull the window open, letting a cold gust of wind inside, blowing both of our hair into our eyes.

           He sat there in the windowsill, while I let my powerful wings hold me in place, we stayed like that for a few moments, stating in to each others eyes.

           "My name's Hide buddy, nice to meet ya!", I introduced, offering a hand in friendship.

           His eyes shifted towards my hand, then back to my face, before his small hand reached out and gently placed itself on top of mine.

           "My name ish Kaniki."

He's young, he can't pronounce words right ;-;
